I come to LA from the east coast once or twice per year and I make my travel schedule around eating at Moto once per visit. The tan tan men ramen is absolutely the best ramen I have ever had. The broth is pure perfection... The side dishes are solid as well and the sushi is simple, but out of this world fresh and tasty. Sam is a great host. See you on my next trip Moto!!!

I had the Spicy Miso ramen.. which was very good and very big portion. I wish the meat was Chashu - the pork belly like meat, and not some other sliced meat. That is my only complaint, but the spicy level was great and the condiments are awesome. They give you a roasted garlic on the side too.

Omg I was craving some Japanese noodles soup and let me tell you I was in the right place..I live not too far and I always wanted to try...I got there n the guy who serviced me recommended the soup and omg it was delicious although it was a big portion for myself it's def a must...soup was delicious can't wait to go

Broth is so flavorful and they give you complementary marinated garlic to fresh press on top. They are also super quick even when the place is full.
First time coming to this location. The service was exceptionally fast especially during dinner time. We came in around 7pm and there was only a 5 minute wait for a party of 2. We ordered some appetizers, gyoza and sake, and they also came within minutes after sitting. The ramen noodles were nice and firm according to my own preference but the chasu was a little a dry. We also had some troubles with black specs in my water cup but the waiter was quick to replace. The service was nice but there was some room for improvement. The ambience was your typical dinner crowd, lively bit now rowdy. It's definitely a nice space to have a little dinner date or family night out.

Best in town! The staff is great, I always order to go and they're super friendly so I want to dine in soon. I get the black garlic tonkotsu. Once every few months I get a craving and call it in. Highly recommend!
