This establishment is known for Hawaiian BBQ chicken. I would go to Ono whenever I crave for this. The food has been pretty consistent in terms of quality and quantity. One drawback is that the price of their plate has gone up significantly. I wish the price is not that high so it's more affordable and be able to go more frequently.

I come here at least twice a week. Today, I was charged more than I should've been by the cashier and caught the issue when I looked at the receipt. However, since I paid with Apple Pay they couldn't issue me a refund. When asked I asked "why?" I was told "it's your problem for not having the physical card." That is 100% a merchant issue and now as a customer I have to take the loss. If you can take my money digitally you need to be able to give it back digitally. End of story. Fix the system! It's unfair but my bigger issue is being told it was my problem. You loss a loyal customer over a merchant issue and terrible attitude.

I have had Ono Hawaiian BBQ in two states, California and Arizona, and they were both the same in quality and in taste. Although, whenever I phone my orders in there is always a mistake, not on my part but the receivers end.

Having been raised in Hawaii it's hard to find good local Hawaiian bbq. I was hesitant because Ono's Hawaiian bbq is a chain restaurant in California but every time I've tried it it's a nice reminder of home. My favorite would be the fire chicken or the bbq beef. Price is a little expensive for a plate but other than that it's solid in flavor! Oh and the musubis are overpriced

The spicy chicken dish was great (island fire), so was the rice. Their mac salad was bland. Had a side of shrimp, too much batter for my tastes but quite the crunch/presentation of perfect circles.

I placed my order online and it was ready when I got there. I got the teriyaki chicken and my boyfriend did too. My plate didnt make me suck, but his plate made him feel sick after he ate it. The store is super clean and the staff is nice. The parking is super easy

I ordered through door dash and got two island fire chicken meals, and my chicken was raw, and unsafe to eat, due to cross contamination, I needed to throw everything away, because nothing was safe to consume. I ate some, and am hoping I do not get sick.
