Really liked the hot dry noodle! The place wasn't too expensive, and food came out fast.

The food looks nothing like the pictures. Worst "air fried" dumplings I've ever had. Mapo tofu was too watered down. Too much oil used in the fried rice so the texture was way off. I grew up in Asia. This is cheap low quality food. Ingredients were fine but the prep is horrible. Honestly Moon house, Hu's... both are way way better. Even Panda Express is waaay waaaay better. STAY AWAY!!!!

Don't dine in the restaurant during the winter! I'm sitting in the restaurant and I'm freezing. It's 50 degrees outside and they leave the doors open, which means it's 50 INSIDE!!! Everyone around me are wearing coats. I asked them to close the door, but they won't do it!!! The food is good, but unlike every other restaurant in Los Angeles, they can't figure out how to keep the kitchen cool without freezing out the customers! Additionally, they just spent a lot to renovate the place and then they make it totally uninviting! We were sitting around the corner waiting for our food to be called, but nobody ever did. Finally, I went to the counter and our food was sitting there, getting cold!

I ordered five items today. Only one of them is eatable...Others are too salty like season 5 times... Twice-cooked pork and stir fried shredded potato are the worst! I rinse through water couple times and those are still too salty to eat!Is it a joke? There is no egg in egg fried rice.

The good: 肉夹馍,Chinese mo/hamburg is very decent. The bread/mo is crunchy and the polled pork is tasty. Between good and bad depends on preparation: PaoMo, soup base is very decent with a good amount of lamp/beef. However, the bread/mo is totally different to the one used for this purpose. If you break and put the bread/mo into the soup base as you would do with the authentic mo, the bread becomes soggy immediately. Don't put bread/mo into the soup base!!! The bad: 凉皮/Liang Pi, it's not authentic 凉皮 at all. It's basically thick noodle. Not chewy at all. I believe they didn't prepare it correctly, I don't think they did 冼面。 The ugly: 锅贴/pot sticker, which is basically air-fried or more precisely, air-dried dumpling, not crispy as traditional pot sticker.

Just love this place. I'm excited that you expanded your menu, I can't wait to try it! Me and my husband love the noodles from here!

BEST SOUP ON THE WEST SIDE. Period. This is my new go to for soup. Totally amazing. I only wish it was walking distance from my house. lol

Came here mid-afternoon on a Saturday, so the place wasn't busy. My husband and I tried the beef noodle soup, liang pi noodles, and Chinese cold dish. The noodles in both dishes had a good chewy texture. The cucumbers in the cold dish tasted just like regular cucumbers and didn't seem worth getting. Overall, the food was decent and the portions were pretty big. The service could be better here. We had to scan a QR code and order our food online, but for some reason the order didn't go through to the staff (even though I received a confirmation email). Because of that, it took awhile for the food to be ready. There's a small lot for free parking, but all the spaces are compact. This is a good spot for a decently priced meal that will fill you up. I'd just recommend making sure that they get your order.

Very bad experience, taste bad, even my stomach was uncomfortable after eating. Never come here again.

I had planned to order from Hu's Szechaun, but they're closed on Mondays, so I decided to try something new - more "authentic" Chinese food from Qin West Noodle. Qin West has a number of locations including SGV, so someone must like them, but I was disappointed by all three dishes. As I said, I was looking to try something new! After evaluating the "unknown" dishes through Qin's menu (as presented on Uber Eats) as well as Google-searching the dish names, I chose the first one - Zhajiang Noodle. From the picture, this appears to be ground pork in a sauce, over noodles. The description says the sauce is "tomato." There are also green onions which I really like! Unfortunately, the dish I got looked nothing like the picture. There simply is no sauce. I triple-checked the bag for "sauce on the side," but there's no sauce and no tomato. The pork is not ground, but chopped (like "Flame Broiler"), and that's not a big problem, BUT, only about 1/3 of the "meat" is pork. Another third is tofu and the final third is, I believe, a pickled vegetable. It's not very picked which is okay. The menu picture shows shredded cucumber which was also missing, but perhaps that is the vegetable. If I enjoyed the dish this wouldn't matter, but the taste is just okay. The noodles are decent and the potion generous, but they would be better with almost any other topping. Given that only 1/3rd of the "meat" is meat, no wonder this dish was less-expensive than the others. My next two choices were safer: Shrimp chow mein and fried dumplings. The dumplings contain pork (they say) but they don't look a bit fried. There were only 5 dumplings (although they aren't small), and a bit of bean sprout. The chow mein also doesn't look bad, but it's pretty simple: noodles, bok-choy and shrimp - NOTHING else. (I did ask for no mushroom and no egg, so perhaps I would have gotten one of those if not....) None of the dishes seem even slightly hot OR spicy - "Plain vanilla" is a phrase that comes to mind, although of course there's no vanilla flavor either. I haven't actually tried the dumplings or chow mein yet, but it would AMAZE me if these were good enough to change my mind - I am not giving this restaurant a second chance.

As usual, I ordered the Guilin rice noodle soup with 1/4 of the added salt. Chef honored my request and the food was perfect. Simple decor, fast service, clean operation, no tip charge, inexpensive/delicious food. Consider the best Chinese food & value in the westside!

Really good noodles! Serving size is great for the quality and price. Definitely will be back soon to try the rest of the menu. The staff was very friendly as well and explained the menu to me.
