I made the reservation, showed up, and there was a sign saying it was closed for the night. Had to find another place to eat. It was annoying because we came all the way there and were able to make a reservation.

This place is completed closed and they did not call us in advance to let us know. So we drove over there to find out we were out of a reservation on a saturday night at 6:30pm. very irresponsible restaurant.

We went to this place a two months ago and it was closed even though we still had a reservation on open table. So this time I called them and asked if they are open and they told us they are. We drove there and it was closed again. Nothing was mentioned or reservation was not canceled. They have best vegan food but I am not sure what is happening with communication with customers if they are going to be closed.

Restaurant was closed and they didn't contact me despite having my information through OpenTable and confirming that I would be there. I wasted a 30 minute drive and paid for parking for nothing. Exceptionally inconsiderate.

The "lamb" pasta actually tasted like lamb, which was quite a surprise. My companion also loved her puttanesca. We dined indoors away from the hubbub, and it was nice to be able to hear each other. The wine ($17 a glass) tacked quite a bit onto the cost of the meal, so be prepared.

I came here with my bf for our anniversary date and the food was so good! He had the Fusilli Pesto and I had the Rigatoni Arrabbiata. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server was great! Will be back again.

We were really excited to try this restaurant since finding good vegan spots are not easy. We've been to other Matthew Kenney restaurants and have loved them but the food and drinks here were just okay. We tried a lot of different items and a number of different drinks and nothing stood out. The flavors were bland. We were really hoping to love it but unfortunately find no reason to go back.

It's the only time I've ever been able to have pasta vongole (mushrooms here) and it's so good. All the pastas are top notch. The desserts are astounding. The panna cotta is the one to go for if you're only having one. The atmosphere is great- sitting on the patio is as close as you're going to get to a pleasant sidewalk dining experience in LA.

Veggie calamari: Great. Four Cheese Pizza with vegan "cheese": not our kind of pie. Chris, our server, was great. Noise level outside a bit harsh, better inside. If you are a vegetarian it's probably a good place to go, but we aren't and may not return. But maybe the pasta is better.

As a non-vegan, I was so impressed with the delicious food here! I did a vegan tour of LA with a friend visiting from out of town. Sestina tops the list. Friendly & professional service from Anastasia & flirty vibes from Logan. Check it out. You'll be glad you did.

Our dinner last night at Sestina was very good. I am a big fan and love the options at this Vegan Italian restaurant. Excellent service as well from our server Logan who was very friendly and helpful.

Food was fantastic. Very slightly overpriced, but will definitely go back. Had to sit outside on a warm day, but completely covered and a nice breeze kept it cool. Would recommend to anyone.

I love coming here! Nice patio & full bar. Staff is always great. I recommend the Caesar salad & beet pappardelle mushroom pasta. The portions are smaller & a little pricey as expected with a Matthew Kenney restaurant. Can get busy in the evenings so making a reservation is helpful! Some metered parking or the Chase lot across the street (~$6 for 2 hours).

Rude waitstaff. Love the $2 off during happy hour and plant based pasta. I order beet pappardelle. Good flavor wound love more vegetables, brocollini maybe added.

The service was excellent. Our server was nothing but nice. However, our food came out cold, the pastas had sauces that were watered down. I know the pandemic is hitting everyone, but I feel like good service and good food quality is key, especially for finer dining. I hope that the food quality gets better and doesn't continue to be compromised.
