BEWARE OF FOOD POISONING - My friend and I got food poisoning from the pesto gnocchi a couple days ago.

Ordered a Chicken Pesto Panini and received a cold chicken, not melted cheese, and pizza bread that wasn't even pressed? Surely the first Panini I've had that was this bad. I confronted the waiter about it (not his fault but the restaurant) and he basically just said some things differ from the old photos and that this is the updated menu item. Will not be returning. Waste of $13.

In Culver City searching for a latte & randomly opted for Ugo , not knowing anything about the restaurant. I was astonished! Their latte was super deep, rich & creamy in a ceramic cup ! Their pizza had the best crust ever , Napoleon style . The waiter Marian, told me they have teachers from Italy come to the restaurant to review the authenticity of their food to meet genuine Italian standards! So impressed w the Parmesan cheese too ! I'll be back to try more dishes.

This place was incredible! First of all, the restaurant is beyond adorable! It's on Culver Blvd which is a super cute little area. The waiter and the host were both super friendly and the service was quick, even on Valentines Day! I got the fettuccini pescatore which was absolutely phenomenal. I paired it with a signature Valentine's Day drink, which was an espresso old fashion and it was INCREDIBLE! I had never had one before and this one certainly didn't disappoint. We finished it off with raspberry cheesecake which similarly was insanely delicious. I highly recommend it and I will be coming back!

The food is excellent, I always take my clients and out of town guests to Uge. I'm extremely satisfied with the service and how professional all of the workers are. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Happy Hour is from 5-8pm but only in the lounge. Loved that it was 50% off cocktails because their Strawberry Lychee Martini was to die for. Originally $20 but for happy hour it was $10. However the disappointing part was the fact it's not on the regular restaurant cocktail menu so you can only get it in the lounge. The food was good. Got the Baked Bread which only served 2 people so had to get 2 to feed 4 people. Bread was warm, soft & yummy. I got the Penne alla Boscaiola with chicken with was good but nothing to rave about. My friends got the Penne Pesto and that was delicious. The Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine was huge, definitely get your bang for your buck with that dish. Came here on a Wednesday evening & the place wasn't packed which was lovely. They don't have many tables inside so we ended up having to sit outside on the patio which was nice with the heaters on.

Everything buss. Wow! The affogato and spinach ravioli were my fav items I had at Ugo. The potato appetizers were yummy & seasoned well. The customer service was attentive, fast & hospitable. I enjoyed every second here!

Decent little place in downtown Culver's city. The pastas and pizza were fine, but we were really disappointed and dissatisfied with the bruschetta. They shouldn't even offer it as it was soo terrible. For the price of it, you would rxect more, but it was like crusty old pieces of toast and unseasoned tomatoes. I love bruschetta and am always looking for good makes of it, and this was not it. We also ordered the margarita pizza which was fine, but nothing super special. The pasta fared well enough but not to make returners of us Overall I would go to other Italian restaurants if you have the choice.

I am a true cappuccino afficianado and Intellegencia has some of the best beans known to man. But I have to say the cappuccino Trevor made is probably the best I've ever had. It has an aftertaste that is unmistakably, unique. Rich. And the brunch was superb and reasonably priced (in this day and age).

Ugo is a solid spot for great Neapolitan-style pizza. I really like their margherita pizza here. However, I am deducting a star because I ordered some "black forest" slice of cake from Doordash once and it was possibly the most atrociously dry, flavorless, loosely held together slice of cake I'd ever eaten from a restaurant...

Ugo was a dreamy spot for a candle-lit dinner, accompanied by soft, melodic tunes! The ambiance was just what we needed for a relaxed evening. Our server's menu knowledge was impressive, guiding us seamlessly through the options. Now, let's talk about the food highlights: the calamari stole the show! It was hands down the best I've had in ages. And when it came to pasta, the Rigatoni con quattro formaggi was a flavor symphony! My friend and I savored every bite as the cheeses melded into a delicious medley that paired flawlessly with our drinks. I would also recommend the penne alla boscaiola! I will definitely come back for more.

Such a lovely restaurant. Great service from Irina and everyone on the staff! Even the manager came over to make sure our food was satisfactory -- it was all fabulous. Highly recommend!!! They made our Friday night a wonderful end to the week. And a special note of praise for David who makes the gelato. It was outstanding.

I stopped in after taking a long walk with the little doggie. The place is nicely decorated with plenty of tables outside and even more inside for those who don't like the elements around while they eat. My dog and I sat outside and ordered a pepperoni pizza and Chardonnay. The waiters were congenial, attentive, and polite. I appreciated the water for my little pup and the quick service. Now about the pizza, it was really good. The description indicated it is made just like in Italy and I look for that being gluten intolerant. I know breads over there have minimum gluten and I can eat those better without pain. So, the pizza...if I would make any changes, I'd add a little more cheese and make sure the crust is firmer. I don't mind a flimsy, soft crust from time to time, but this one was a little too doughy, still good, but would have been much better if it had a bit of a crunch to it. Would I eat it again? Sure, but I'd tell them to cook it crisp with more cheese.
