Lemme just say I love supporting small businesses. I'm a sucker for yummy desserts. I've supported Macaron de Jayne, Christine's Cookies, Tai Zhan, Bakenstein etc. Hate to write this but the cookies I got did not look like the pic on the website. That's why me and my friend wanted to try the gourmet chocolate chip. On the box,it said "classic choco chip." On the website, they looked so bomb and unique. I posted them on IG and others agreed they looked like from a grocery store. Obviously they're not from the grocery store but ppl said they looked like it. The owner even said the cookies I got in the box, looked like the ones on the website. I don't appreciate being lied to my face. I felt super tricked and thought about it all day. However, the earl grey cookies are super bomb and I highly recommend those. I'm still gonna say the choco cookies tasted good and I appreciate hard work. I know the cookies are gonna come out diff each time. Usually what I buy from other bakers, look like the pic. Maybe change the pic online if that's how it always looks

Make sure to microwave the cookies for 40 seconds before enjoying. Ordered the cookies n cream and strawberries n cream flavors for pick up at Beastea. Loved the texture of the cookies , after microwaving it is warm tasty and soft on the inside. Follow their Instagram to get details on what flavors they have available. The cookies are really delicious and large 6 oz in size.

I'm a huge cookie monster, so I've been wanting to try the cookies from here and was really excited when I seen they deliver. I ordered 6 cookies through Neon and was pretty disappointed. I ordered chocolate peanut butter, coffee toffee, chocolate chip, matcha, shamrock and cookies and cream. With all the fees, it came out to be $9 a cookie which is pretty pricey so I had high expectations. I love my cookies crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside and these cookies weren't it. Not sure if its cause it was delivered and not picked up fresh, but the cookies were dry. The packaging said to either airfry or microwave, so I tried both ways and the cookies were really dry, so dry that I only had a bite of each cookie to try the flavor and ended up throwing the rest away. Giving two stars for the convenience of delivery and also because I feel bad for giving any business one star.

A few of my coworkers rave about this place, saying that they would order deliveries weekly, so I wanted to try it for myself! Local delivery is free as long as you order over $8 (which is basically at least two items). This business currently does not have a "retail" store; they only do pickup and delivery to South Bay areas (as far as I know). If you can't eat a lot in one sitting, you're either gonna have to save part of a pudge cookie or share with friends (the best part about cookies). I only had the seasonal shamrock pudge cookie (with mint and chocolate) and it was super good - I food coma'd. The texture of cookies if you warm them in a microwave for 20 seconds is soft and a little bit doughy toward the center, but the outside holds a firm shape with a nice bite. I personally love that I can taste tidbits of salt here and there to vary and enhance the flavor experience. Amy is super nice with working out delivery details, and her love for cookies is contagious.

I absolutely love the ube pudge cookies they are my absolute favorite! I am definitely the person waiting for them to return during their various seasonal availability. Close second place for me is the red velvet. Service has always been smooth and easy, I've done both delivery on the delivery days and pick up at their Friday pick up.

Intro: - Wow, how have I not written a Yelp review yet about Batch 22? I discovered them last year and me and my wife have been a big fan of theirs ever since, spreading the decadence of these pudges to friends, family, and church members. Food: - The challenge is what flavors could I *not* write something about at this point? This review would be too long, but here's what I'd *jump* on if I saw them on the menu: - Ube dulcey pudge: I loves me some ube, and this cookie combines ube with the caramel / butterscotch-like flavor of dulcey into a wonderfully rich experience. - Gingy pudge: The store owner went through 30+ iterations to land the perfect ginger cookie, and it seriously shows. This is the best ginger cookie I have ever eaten--crisp outside, soft inside, a beautiful balance of ginger warmth and spiciness without being overpowering-ly ginger-y. - Dulcey chocolate chip: It's like a classic white chocolate chip cookie but elevated with dulcey and sea salt flakes that add extra dimensions of richness and complexity. - Red velvet: A well-executed red velvet--not too sweet, not straight chocolate-y--filled with a nicely balanced cream cheese frosting filling. - Pumpkin spice: Similar cream cheese frosting filling as the red velvet, except with a pumpkin spice cookie that is warming and balanced. Service: - The owner is super responsive on her store's Instagram and is very friendly and personable. Ambiance: - N/A (though she picks nice local coffee shops for her popups!) Overall: - If you follow their Instagram, you'll quickly realize that Batch 22's owner is truly dedicated to her craft, and it shows up in everything she makes and in the lengths she goes to serve her customers. I'll be a customer as long as I'm here in the bay.

Was gifted cookies and these are huge dense cookies! The poinsettia cookie was the first one I tried and though it would've been better in the oven, I nuked it a little bit in the microwave. The red velvet with fresh cream cheese in the center was heavenly! I then tried the coal pudge, which was a bit too bitter for my taste. Tried the chocolate chip and it was not bad but covered with the ginger from the bottom cookie and ginger is not my favorite so I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd like.

Holy smokes these are amazing cookies! Ube dulcey and gingy flavors were unbelievable. Just pop them in the toaster oven for 5 minutes and enjoy. So warm and flavorful!

Batch 22 was doing a pop up at nirvana soul and I happened to be getting coffee there that morning! I've seen their name on Yelp but was always too lazy to place an order so it's nice they have pop ups! They had about 6 flavor options and I was most excited for matcha but they didn't have it that day. The owner recommended the s'mores and the strawberries and cream. You get 5% off if you follow them on Instagram- a few cents lol the total was $6.24. Definitely very pricey for a cookie. We decided to go with the s'mores! We ate it in the car so couldn't heat it up but I'm sure it would've been even better warm. The marshmallow was so good on the cookie and I don't even like marshmallows. There were some salty bits in the cookie not sure if it was unmixed salt or salted caramel? I wasn't a fan of those because I'm not a fan of salty + sweets but that's personal preference. Me and my friend split the cookie and I was surprised the cookie wasn't overly sweet or sickening. It's not as sweet or greasy as levains which is nice.Worth a try if you feel like splurging nearly $7/cookie.

Batch 22 has been on my list of places to try for a long time and I finally got around to it. I first found out about it on one of my boba runs at Beastea and immediately put it on my list in anticipation of my next cookie craving. You do have to order with a bit of advanced notice, so I eventually realized that I couldn't keep waiting around for a craving first and that I'd have a better time with the cookies on hand.I was browsing the website for flavors that I wanted and I settle on the campfire and the mint chip. I saw on their Instagram page that they had ube dulcey at one point which I'm so upset at myself for having missed out on. When I went back on to place my order the next day, I was so dismayed to see that campfire pudge had sold out. I then had to recruit a friend to help me sample these cookies just to make sure my personal taste wouldn't bias the review. I ended up ordering a strawberries 'n cream and a mint chip for pickup the next week.I had a couple of interactions with Amy leading up to pickup day, and she was very responsive every time. Come pickup day, the pickup process was straightforward and seamless. We reheated the cookies according to the instructions on the box in the oven and they smelled so good when we took them out.I've actually had the Levain Bakery cookie that originally inspired Amy to break into the cookie business, but both at the time and in the present day my opinion that they were not particularly memorable still stands. I'm a fan of a strong mint flavor in a double chocolate chip cookie like the one Insomnia has, so honestly the mint chip pudge was not to my personal liking. It wasn't too sweet which I will commend, but it was very subtle in both mint and chocolate flavor compared to what I was originally hoping for. The center of the cookie is very soft and cakey, which I've come to learn also isn't my favorite (I'm more a fan of 50/50 crispy to cakey ratio). I did appreciate how the flavor tasted natural and the cookie as a whole was as good for your health as a cookie can get while still satisfying that cookie craving. The strawberries n' cream consisted of freeze-dried strawberries and white chocolate chips. Initially I really didn't want to order this one because I don't like strawberries in anything or outside of their juicy berry self, so my friend was the judge on this one. In his words, it was good and I liked it. Me personally, I don't like the styrofoam texture of freeze-dried strawberries. The cookie batter itself helps to prevent the cookie as a whole from being too sweet, and while I didn't dislike it it's definitely not the flavor for me.If you're looking for a discount, new members of the pudge club receive 10% off the first order and you can register on their website. There is also a Yelp check in offer which will get you a free chocolate chip pudge, but I thought it was too weird to get in the vicinity of Amy's home address to check in so I haven't redeemed that one yet.

Too expensive, nothing special cookies.

Best cookie i've ever had. We chose the "pudge cookies n' cream" and "pudge ube dulcey". No regrets!

It's hard for me to say no to a giant "pudge" cookie, especially if they have interesting flavors. A friend got me an ube cookie, and I was so excited that they had this Asian flavor option. It's got good ube flavor and also toffee and caramelized white chocolate chips. Flavors change seasonally.Definitely warm it up before enjoying - it helps the texture a lot.According to their website, they currently do local deliveries Tues/Thurs (free for orders over $8!) and pickups on Friday afternoons at Beastea.

I never thought a cookie would change the way I viewed the world - then I had Batch 22. I've been ordering with Batch 22 for close to 2 years now and I have literally never had a bad cookie. From the Campfire pudge that first piqued my interest, to ordering the Pink Lemonade cookies weekly cause I couldn't get enough. From the sweet crunch of a cornflake pudge, to the childhood memories of Mint chocolate chip. The delicate heat from the ginger molasses to the perfect balance of coffee/toffee. Even their classic, gourmet chocolate chip cookies are unmatched. And if that's not enough, Amy (owner) is such a pleasant, kind, amazing person! Whether she is throwing in an extra pudge, a keychain or sticker, or DMing me to set aside some cookies for me at their next pop up haha! Don't even mention crumble around me, or we're fighting.
