The tripe was fairly decent with an interesting non-soy based marinade. The pressed tofu and gluten noodles were tough, stale, and too salty. Really wanted to like this place but overall disappointed

I've been going to this place several times during the last two years, really wanted to like it because it's convenient grab and go place close to the supermarket. Unfortunately every time I'm not impressed and final today the meat is super salty and not tastes good, I decided not to come anymore.

Great little takeout spot for authentic and uncommon Chinese food. Its pre packed, and everything is on the shelf/fridge to pick.We got some dry noodles, gluten noodles and buns from there. The sweet buns were very good with a sugar crust, while its a bit dry, it's expected to be reheated with a wet paper towel in a microwave. The gluten noodles were great, perfect consistency and spicy sauce. Will definitely come back and get more.

We found this little gem after getting a referral from our waiter at a frequent restaurant. It hides next to Marina Supermarket, facing Target side, which explains why we never noticed it even though we visit Marina pretty often. The to-go food selection is great. The owner/chef is very nice. We bought cold noodle, duck tongues, pig ears and a few other items. All are delicious. Great cold dishes and snack food for parties with tasteful cold noodles filling kids, perfect for families if you don't want to cook. For sure we will revisit here often. This place just needs to get more ppl know. It took me a while to find its English name at Yelp. I thought it would be called Mr Ma Food as written on the to-go container. Anyway, I highly recommend this place.

Came from out of town for work. Randomly stumbled upon this little jam. The 滷肉拌麵 is so tasty I don't know how to describe it. You would have to try it yourself. And it's only $10?! Where do you find cheap yummy food like this. They take credit cards, but no AMEX. Take out only.

There is this sub-genre of Chinese cooking that simmers things in a soy-sauce based broth for a long time. It is largely understood as a style of braised, but there is really no English word for it, to my vocabury. And this place is an excellent one. We judge these fares first by its flavors. This place is the SiChuan style, but not overwhelming. The proteins are delicious and tender. They don't offer slicing, a disappointment. Otherwise, it was a kind of charcuterie board with those braised fares. A word of warning to those uninitiated. We like our offals. If you don't, stick to muscles.

Pro: They take credit cards! ?This corner shop might not sell 'bento' boxes as stated in their name, but you definitely will find something yummy to eat.The shop does not have a sit down area. Most of the items here are meant to be eaten cold or heat it up at the comfort of your home. You can walk in, grab what is in the fridge, pay, and leave. The owner is very nice and answered all my questions since it is my first time here. Support your local small businesses!Food: I picked Dan Dan Noodles, Beef Combo, Green Bean Jelly, and Pork Intestines (for my hot pot ?). You can see the pork intestines are cleaned very well and filled with fat. Most items are priced between $8 -$12 and good portion sizes. I got all 4 dishes under $45 with tax. They also have homemade beef jerky from sweet to spicy and other delicious looking food I haven't explore. I definitely will come back and give it a try!

Bought cooked pork hock (卤猪肘)from this places a couple times. The price was very reasonable and the taste is always great. Moreover, their location is very convenient if you visit Target or Marina food.

Update 09/25/21: They have handmade, frozen wontons! There are two options: meat wontons or meat/vegetable wontons. Both are delicious AND convenient! PS: ask to get their bottled chili oil ($10 for a whole giant bottle) and use it to dip the wontons.... Mmmmmm!!!!!

Second lunch? Why not! I was dimsumming it at Lei Garden across the street when I spotted Bento Corner's grand opening sign (side of Marina Food plaza). I asked the staff at Lei Garden if they've been there and if it's any good. They said, "yea" so I popped in and asked for a menu. Except there's no menu. And, no bento. Whaaaa? Bento Corner is a tiny, take-out operation selling Northern Chinese apps; just grab 'n go from their fridge. Currently, they have beef jerky, braised beef shank, tendons, tripe, pig ears, pork feet, duck head, etc. The braised pork feet and duck head are vacuum sealed, and need to be warmed up. You can also purchase their housemade chili oil crisps for $10/jar. CASH ONLY (credit card machine is not up and running yet). They're open everyday from 11:30 am - 8 pm. If you go later in the evening, I would call ahead in case they close early for the day. * Cold Beef Combo w/ sliced beef shank, tendons, and tripe ($10) The trio was cooked well (not seasoned) - soft, tender shank, crunchy, gelatinous tendons, and soft, chewy tripe. Didn't taste any five-spice in the shank. The accompanying soy was salty and sweet with a touch of oil. The chili oil crisps had a great mala numbing spice (my lips were burning). The roasted peanuts were fresh and crunchy. Service is friendly and helpful. The lone staff is there if you have any questions. If you're looking for a quick, low-carb meal, give Bento[less] Corner a try!
