The curry was spicy and delicious. The volume is also satisfying. Probably because we arrived around 3 o'clock, there were only two customers including us. It was served quickly. The inside of the store is a deserted scene.

Actually the best curry I've had, so the hype is justified. The curry has a lot of aromatic spices that others lack and a nice tart profile. The chicken cutlet was also very moist and crispy. The difference between the best curry and an average curry is less noticeable than other dishes imo but worth checking out.

Great food. The price is reasonable compared to other restaurants.

Great food. The curry flavor is excellent. They don't do spice levels, instead the pepper powders are on the table for seasoning. Be very careful with the pepper powder.

I'm always a fan of Japanese curry and I'm always down to try something new, but I would say I've tried better. I heard this place was new. Therefore, I wanted to try it and don't get me wrong. It's not bad. It takes about 30 minutes before we got seated just because it was super packed. The place was really small, but can fit about 10 tables. Edamame was fresh and steamy, and I definitely am highly recommend getting the corn soup. I was very iffy at first, but that was the star of the meal. Custard, creamy, warm, sweet. They even added a little bit of croutons for you to enjoy a little crunch with the soup. Now as for the curry, I ask for mild, but it wasn't to my liking. I definitely think the sauce could be blended a bit more. In my defense, it was a bit chunkier than what I expected. I think it was premade. Therefore the Katsu was kind of cold and dry. I will still say give it a try before judging it.

Super busy when I went but seated promptly. Had the tonkatsu curry. Tonkatsu was juicy and had a good fry. The curry was basic restaurant curry. There is a spice tray with a bunch of different peppers. I tried all of them and managed to achieve something good for me. Can't get to some of the cooked in spice flavors but you'll get to most by combining these. My wife had their teishoku which was tonkatsu and side dishes and miso soup. They have some japanese style "napolitan" and hayashi omurice which is rare in the US.

The wait is very long on a weekend if you get here around 11am-1pm. We waited almost 2 hours for a party of 3. You have a better chance with a party of 2 since they have smaller tables, the restaurant is very small. It was worth the wait though as food arrived hot, fresh and tasty. Nice big servings so it was money well spent. If you have anything fried/ breaded for your meal, I recommend having them on the side so that the breading does not come loose due to steam and wetness from the curry. Overall I would definitely come back at an earlier time or maybe try them during a weekday.

A nice place to try out Japanese curry! There is a secret menu -- egg don, which is not on the menu but we learned it from other tables haha. I personally enjoyed the pork katcu. It was fresh and juicy (I don't like those too dry :)

Solid curry spot. I got the classic pork katsu, which was juicy and flavorful. The curry itself was also really flavorful as well! I'd say my only complaint about the food is that there was too much cabbage.. that it was super overwhelming. It got soggy in the curry, which I didn't prefer, but I'll definitely ask for it on the side next time. The table provided a wide range of spices that went from mild-really spicy. The service was super quick and friendly. One male server (i wish we got his name!) saw us trying all the spices and wanting some More spicy, so he brought us two other spices that had ghost pepper(?) in them. Super considerate and nice of him to do that! The interior was small, but super clean and bright. A plate of curry with tip and tax and no add ons turned out to be around $19 which is pretty good to me!

The curry honestly was pretty good, one of the better ones in the bay. Servers were friendly and food came quickly. But the place is kinda small and cramped, and the wait was 50 min for a party of two. It's a shame they didn't open a larger restaurant because they are efficient enough to handle it.

Came for weekday dinner and there was still a wait! (Probs like 20 mins) I got the Signature Tonkatsu Curry and it was great! Would come here again!

Our kids were delighted! As were we. :) Ever since Curry House closed, my daughter has been distraught because she loves corn pottage! My daughter reported that she even likes this more and loves the little corn bits. The menu is simple but also has so much to offer that I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted to eat. They were accommodating to special requests (ie, no onions / sauce on the side) and got our orders correct. The presentation was pretty good too - actually looked better than the menu photos even! :) Friendly and attentive staff. We appreciated the button at the side of the table to let them know when we were ready to order rather than needed to flag someone down. It does get a little loud though because it is a rather small space. We came right at 6pm and were grateful we did because we were able to get seated immediately.. whereas people who came at 7pm had a long line of people waiting ahead of them. We will definitely be back!

The corn potage soup was A+, my favorite part of the meal!I got the karage curry and the rice in my curry was a smidge undercooked while the chicken was a bit overcooked. The food was generally good, but honestly not as great as Demiya. The meat loses out to Demiya's Chicken Katsu by a long shot.

I've gone here twice now and both times didn't disappoint. I've tried the katsu, which was crispy and juicy. Meat was tender and the slices were thick. The menchi katsu was seasoned well, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. One patty is surprisingly pretty filling! The cabbage provided a nice cleanser from the oiliness and heaviness of the meal, though I do wish there was dressing. Potato salad was yummy as well and I appreciated that the pickled radishes came with the meal and I didn't have to pay extra. The portions are huge. I was stuffed by the end of my meal; one dish can definitely be two portions. The corn soup was creamy and came with garlic croutons; it was good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. This place does get pretty packed and the restaurant itself is pretty small. We came on a Sunday night around 8 PM and there was still several parties in front of us. Happy to see a new Japanese curry place in the area and I'll definitely be coming back again!
