This place is definitely less well known and slightly more difficult to find but it absolutely delivers. The overall interior is cute and peaceful and the service is good. I personally love twice-cooked pork, especially when it is served in a pot where the flame continues to run. The flavor of the pork fat that gets rendered in the pot permeates into the cauliflower and makes the entire dish taste excellent. This restaurant captures the essence of the dish. Their fried rice is also a cut above the rest. I'm not sure how they do it, but it certainly has more flavor than restaurants elsewhere. All meats that we ordered (I don't remember what they were called) were very good as well. I'd say this is a very accurate representation of Hunan food. It is authentic and delicious. Got griddled intestine, water boiled spicy fish, yuxiang pork. Staff also said they made fresh soy milk and it's BOGO and so you can drink on-site (they refilled for me when we left). Super friendly staff, food was a bit of a wait, sitting area had a few flies (restaurant also had zappers). Small parking area, food hit the spot. Friend was also in the wechat group where if you mentioned the promotion, there was 10% off. Can't wait to try more dishes next time!

The spice level, the sauce , everything is so perfect. To go the left over to home, add some more veggies , still taste good.The thousand-year old egg with eggplant and chili is the best I’ve ever tasted .Too many options I wanna try , definitely come back soon.

What a great find! Huge portion and very well seasoned. We ordered a squid dish and a spicy pot of pig goodies (ham, blood, intestines, etc). They are able to make the squid dish non spicy for the kids and still taste very well. The pot of pig goodies is very spicy to my husband's liking. We had enough leftover for lunch the next day. Definitely will come back for more next time.

A group of friends went to the restaurant to celebrate Chinese new year today. Since one of the friends needs to rush back office for a meeting, when paying bill, I accidently put the bill total in the gratuity. I did not notice it until late evening when I checked the charge on the credit card transaction history. I called restaurant, and the owner verified the charge and refunded me immediately. 好人一定会有善报的，这么诚实善良的老板，饭店生意一定会兴旺的！谢谢老板！
