The line usually gets pretty long but it's so worth! The restaurant is not a cafe so no seating. If you like omomo from SoCal, you will like this one!!

Came here for their good variety chasen to buy and I ended up getting the chasen if suikaen! It is one of the cheapest ones in the store for $38. The person who gave me the chasen was super nice enough to explain how to wash and use it. I also got the matcha latte and the recipe is the exact same as the San Jose location, rich in matcha and creamy in dairy! It was super busy when I came here, but other than that, Izumi Matcha is by far my favorite matcha places to go to in the Bay Area!

This place needs another fucking kiosk or hire more peeps to take orders. Ridiculous how long it takes while the workers standing around behind the counter. I'm in line and would leave but i've been waiting and dont wanna stand in this fucking line foe nothing. Get another fucking kiosk geez!!'

Now I understand the hype about Izumi! I've seen a lot of my friends rave about this place so I decided to come try it out. I got the cheese mousse matcha tea, less sweet, 30% ice with the free extra matcha shot ($6.95). I really recommend the extra matcha shot! I was hesitant to add it at first in case it was too bitter, but it was perfect in my opinion. Not watery at all, DELICIOUS cheese foam and quality matcha you can taste. 5/5 stars! I recommended this to all my friends who love matcha and I would totally come back again (-:

Matcha flavor definitely shines through on each drink (matcha latte and hojicha latte). Prices are definitely on the higher side, but so are many bobas/coffees these days. They have many interesting combinations, such as matcha white peach and matcha lychee drinks. Ordering is through kiosk, and wait time is reasonable, within 10mins both times I've went. Interior is very modern and minimalistic with different matchas on display--overall a cute store in a good location with solid tasting drinks! Definitely want to come back to try more.

So glad Izumi Matcha opened up in Cupertino! I usually go to the one in ESSJ, but now I can grab my mid-day matcha fix during work. Store is super new and clean, however they only have 1 self ordering station so the line could get quite long especially during the afternoon when nearby schools are out. I always get the cheese mousse matcha tea with less sweet. Even with less sugar, the drink is still quite sweet. I wish there was an option to request for no sugar. On the bright side, they offer extra shots of matcha for a stronger taste for no charge! Overall, a great place to grab matcha. I would recommend adding more sugar level options, another kiosk for self ordering, and a way to order in advance for pick up.

This matcha spot is popular for a reason, the matcha is top notch. Great matcha soft serve as well as matcha drinks. My current favorite is the creme brûlée matcha. Expect to wait at least 10 - 15 mins to order towards the end of the night, as this spot gets really busy and lines can go almost out the door. They also send you a text when your drink is done which is convenient. If you are a matcha lover, this spot is definitely for you.

Love a little matcha drink as a pick-me-up. Izumi Matcha is located in a popular strip plaza on Stevens Creek Blvd. Parking is fairly easy, but can get crowded during weekends. There is only one kiosk to order from, and it is the only place you can order. Some people take awhile to look through the kiosk and order, so the wait can take awhile. From the door, it usually takes me ~20 minutes to order and get my drink. They have a cash back rewards program if you enter your phone number. Additional $0.95 charge for oat milk. HONEY MATCHA LATTE -- I thought it was okay, a bit more bitter and barely any honey taste. If you love grainy grassy matcha taste, this is for you. STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE - delicious! The perfect level of sweetness balanced with bold and strong matcha flavors. Probably my go-to drink, but more dessert than every day vibes. OKINAWA HOJICHA LATTE - love love the graininess of hojicha, and they definitely make it well. The black sugar sweetens the drink nicely. You could get away with less sweet probably. MATCHA ICE CREAM - a delicious dessert. It doesn't melt quickly, so the consistency is pretty sturdy, but not "thick". There is strong taste of matcha and truly is the perfect flavor. I do wish they opened a bit earlier. I came here at 11 in the morning one day only to find out they don't open until 12:30PM. But I think they are marketing more as boba/dessert shop than coffee shop vibe. There are like two tables inside, but the line is always forming so not really the ambience to sit and chat.

If you're a matcha girly/guy, Izumi is a must. Izumi offers a fabulous selection of matcha drinks and soft serve. Their Silver Creek location also makes fresh taiyakis for their soft serve. This location seems to be more well known for their drinks. There's a kiosk to make ordering a breeze. A downside is that you have to register your phone number with them at the end, which puts you at risk for having your information out there and spam calls, of course. They offer a selection of cute but also pricey matcha bowls, matcha powder and bamboo whisks. This spot seems to always have a line out the door since its fairly new at this location. I waited about 15 minutes in line and then another 6 minutes for our Okinawa hojicha latte- This one had a strong brown sugar flavor- similar to that caramelized boba taste. The flavor was so deep and sweet. The hojicha was strong yet not overpowering against the brown sugar. The latte was on the sweet side but theres not much room for sugar adjustment (only two options). I would get this again. Next time I'm in the area I will be stopping here to grab a refreshing drink.

Matcha is probably one of my most favorite thing to consume. I've been to the other location which is located on Silvercreek in San Jose. This location in Cupertino is a bit bigger.unfortunately, the day I went there was a long line and there was only one kiosk to place your order. The workers were preparing the drinks, but once you order from the kiosk your order comes out pretty quickly. That was just my experience. They of course had ice cream, drinks and merchants to buy. I really enjoyed getting their yuzu matcha. A perfect balance of lemonade and matcha. I got mine at less sweet, but it still came out pretty sweet still. I still loved it! I also got their hibiscus drink with basil seed and a red dragon. It was all good! If you want a non dairy drink, come check it out! Would I come again? YES! Absolutely if I was in the area. I have a location that's already near me so I go there often. It's such a refreshing drink and perfect drink for the summer or any hot day too!

good, but not amazing! the line can look long but it's not that long, it was about a 15 minute wait for us + the drinks come out super quickly! we ordered the Okinawa hojicha and the dragon fruit refresher (my boyfriend is sensitive to caffeine)! overall, the drinks were good, but wouldn't go out of my way to come back as the drinks were a bit on the sweeter side despite the adjustments and the flavor was a little bit bland.

Don't be scared of the long line that's out the door, it goes by quickly. It's a small store so you'll probably be outside eating. Honey Hojicha Latte (3/5): Tried Hojicha before and for some reason my latte barely had any flavor. I even had to ask them for more but it basically tasted like milk. Hojicha Ice Cream (5/5): Had much more flavor than the latte. Rich and flavorful, what the latte should've tasted like. Maybe it was an off day when I went but they were nice enough to readjust the drink so I'll give them that. Would come again for the ice cream though, great for a late night craving.

I was going to the South Bay to run a few errands last week and one of them was to restock on some matcha powder at home! The one I was using I ran out of, it was from a different brand. I've been wanting to try Izumi Matcha for a while and saw that you could buy matcha powders here as well. So I decided I would give it a try! I ordered the Classic Honey Matcha Latte, they even had an option to add a free double shot of matcha to the latte so I said why not! It was definitely very strong lol but it had nice matcha flavor, you could tell they use good quality matcha. I drank half of it and saved the rest in my fridge for the next day lol. I also got the Matcha Parfait I really liked it, I didn't realize it had strawberries in it and I'm not a big strawberry girl. But other then the strawberries it was great! They have quite a few different options for Matcha powders to purchase and I wasn't sure of what to pick so I asked the girls working there for some advice. They both were super nice, I ended up getting the Uji Matcha for around $28 I believe. I've now tried using the powder at home and I really like it for those days I need to make matcha at home! She also told me it's best to try and use it within a month but can be good in the fridge for up to a year. I thought that was really helpful cause other places I've bought matcha powder from never told me about that. They have a self order kiosk which is where I ordered the latte and the parfait, they have 2 small tables inside. The giant matcha whisk decor is a fun addition to the decor cause I've never seen one that big before! Very modern and clean. Would definitely come back if I'm in the mood for matcha and in the are!

Came in on a Saturday afternoon, the line wasn't crazy long however it did take awhile to place my order since there was only 1 kiosk. It took 20+ minutes to order and maybe 2 minutes for my drink to be actually made. I ordered a strawberry matcha latte and it was very delicious. The matcha flavor isn't super strong, but you can add another shot if you would like. I would love to try the crème brûlée next time since it was very popular. The shop was very clean, however there was no indoor seating. If there were multiple ordering kiosk and if the cashier was taking orders then the line would definitely go by faster.
