The best Korean BBQ Buffet in S.Bay area so far. We tried a few. There aren’t that many. First visit with my son last night. We were both quite impressed by the quality of food and service. And its atmosphere is pleasant too. We will definitely go back.

Favorite AYCE k-bbq in the Bay area. They have way better cut selections than similar restaurants and much better sides bar. Come here 1-2 a month.

My go to AYCE KBBQ spot in the South Bay. They no longer have the all you can drink option before Ohgane was added to the name but the meat quality and selection keep me coming back. I always wonder why it's not more packed whenever I go but I'm not complaining. They have a salad bar and hot bar available as well which is a huge plus. I love pairing my bites of fatty meat with the contrast of crunchy veggies. They also have a great variety of soups and sides. I always have to get an order of the fried rice cakes with honey. It reminds me of the honey twist chips that you find at the Korean supermarket, but this is the original version.

My husband and I were craving Korean bbq. After giving birth to a newborn baby, we didn't get to go out as much. So we took a day to finally go out for some food and fresh air. I am Korean so I know where the good Korean bbq spots are but all of them were closing because we randomly decided to go and the time was around 2pm (a lot of Korean bbq places close at 2:30pm for breaks and open back up at 4 or 5). I was yelping and randomly came across this place. Even though it was 3 1/2 stars, I thought why not give it a try since it's open? Bbq is very hard to fk up. Oh boy was I wrong. Ladies and gents. I am not joking DO NOT GO HERE. There are many many AYCE Korean bbq places that are good. Food-- the food was generally alright. Actually was presently surprised on the quality of some of the meats. (Don't order the bulgoki, like some reviews say it's VERY mushy, not a good texture). I had pretty bad experience at other bbq restraunts and it wasn't that bad. Don't order the kimchi soup though, very very salty. Their Kalbi (short ribs) was the best and generally my husband I enjoy Kalbi the most. But this is where it started to go down hill. Customer service -- We ordered pork belly, bulgoki, other meats but we mostly ordered Kalbi. Like 6 orders (each order comes with two pieces). We finished everything and was happy with the meal and the buffet bar. The servers were really nice (1 young Korean woman and 1 Mexican man). There really was no one there so they were very attentive to us. I know some reviews said when it gets packed, the service wasn't good. Right when we were given the check, and about to sign, this older server lady comes over to me (she knew I was Korean as I ordered in Korean), and proceed to blur out the most ridiculous thing that I ever heard in my entire life!!!!!!! I am usually lazy with reviews but man this woman pushed my buttons. Like the other reviews said, she proceeded with making comments in Korean to us about "not eating all the kalbi meat". And I just looked at my husband and he was confused Bec he doesn't speak korean (he is Chinese). Here is the stupidest conversation I ever had: Me-- "we ate all the meat what are you talking about?" Old lady server -- "look at those bones, there's meat around it" Me -- "What are you talking about? Those are bones and mostly fat. This is how we usually eat it. What is the problem? Old lady server -- "I have never seen anyone eat it like that. Most people take off the meat around the bone. We cannot serve you Kalbi if you eat it like this next time. Me -- "Everyone has their own way to eat food and this is how I eat it (and I took a piece and showed her). This is all bone and fat and you expect me to go in and eat that? I don't eat the chewy thing around the bone and who are you to tell me I can't eat it like that." Old lady server -- well we can't serve you next time Me -- well there is no next time Bec I'm not coming back here ever again and you ruined my whole experience and of finally going out after having a baby And just ruining my whole day. Fist of all....you are going to tell me how to eat my meal??? I have never in 25 years I lived in the Bay Area of how many Korean bbq I went to, get a complaint about not eating off the bone. What a joke. We ate all the other meats too that we ordered. I get how these older Korean ahjumas are. They hate seeing "wastefulness" but what was I supposed to eat? Like the other reviews mention, THESE ARE BONES AND FAT!! ALSO who are they to tell us how we eat? I'm paying with my hard earn money to eat here. I would understand her complaint if we left excessive amounts of food. But we literally ate everything but the bones and fat and little tiny meat around the fat. I wasn't going to dig in with teeth through all that fat and stuff just to get like the 2cm meat next to the fat. Isn't this the most ridiculous thing ever??? Message me if you want to eat good Korean bbq with better customer

This is my first one star review on my Yelp -I usually like to only praise exceptional service on Yelp, but this place is a total flip side. This is a first time I've been to a Korean BBQ all you can eat place where we were criticized for not taking every little bit of meat off of the kalbi bones. We were told they can't serve kalbi to us next time if we eat like that. Really??? So now I need to be told how I should eat and I need to suck the bones clean to eat here?? If you're going to be that cheap about the kalbi bone don't open an all you can eat Korean BBQ place! Unbelievable...

I have been here 3 times so far and all 3 times I've had similar experiences but I'm writing about my most recent. The service is slow here and in dire need of more staff. I dislike giving bad reviews to restaurants that are good but staffing is an issue. The red flag I saw/felt was when our server asked us what we wanted to order. Not gonna lie, our order was a lot but I said it as slow as I could for her because I could tell she was stressed out. She gave my table an annoyed look, went silent and stormed off. Not only that, but it took 2 servers and roughly 20 mins to get water when the table next to us just arrived and they got their water before us. Like I said, this place really needs more staff and possibly a bell system. I've been to the Ohgane in Concord and they have a bell system that works great for them. The food here is great though and so is the quality of the meat, however the experiences I've been having here makes me want to question if I want to come back here again.

Solid ayce, our grill was replaced before things started burning every time. We totally missed the second banchan buffet table so don't make the same mistake as us

Do not go here if you're not asian or particularly Korean. They are very racist here. My family went here because we were in town. My husband is from the philippines. We waited for an hour. They seated us. Then they NEVER returned to take our order. We flagged them after being seated about 30min. They said ok and took our order but NEVER came back. They just kept staring at our table. We assumed they intentionally did this so we would leave. So after waiting an hour in line and an hour to be served my family left. I've never felt so discriminated. Worst place ever. Will never go back and don't recommend. Horrible. Read some of the reviews and seemed like this was happening to others as well.. horrible, racist, bad manners from staff and management. They try to scam you on tips. Wow this place is a piece of work!! Stay away!!!

This review is about the buffet. Perhaps a la carte would have been better? Pretty awful, as simple as that. They don't get 1 star because most people there are nice servicewise. The meats are pretty low quality specially the beef and pork. Chicken is a little better. Side dishes are very subpar. Will not be going back any time soon..

It's a good sign that the table next to us was a group of Korean Moms ordering non-marinated meats, and bringing stacks of lettuce and bean paste to their table. Overall the service was excellent, better than what I have ever received at Gen. They frequently came around to change the grill without us having to ask and take away our dirty dishes as well. Meat orders were easy, and I never had to flag anyone down to order. We came a bit early, so it wasn't super packed. The salad, banchan bar was well stocked and clean. Brisket = Excellent cut Beef Belly = Good cut LA Kalbi = Similar to what you would get at Costco. The meat was a bit fatty and it wasn't the best marbelling Marinated Bulgogi = The cut of meat was good Hawaiian Marinated Bulgogi = More of a top round cut, very sweet, I thought the other one was better Beef Tips = It was Ok, I've had much better I ordered waaay too much Bulgogi because I thought my kid wanted it and it was very sweet. Next time, I try it then I will the un-marinated meat route. I wish their Kalbi was less sweet and a better cut, then I would go with a solid 4+. Otherwise, they're playing Kpop music in the back and it's a nice divergence from the Hostetter Gen which does have a better night club ambiance.

Decent KBBQ but service was pretty slow. I had stopped by Bull on a Friday evening with my boyfriend for dinner and made a reservation. The place was pretty empty when we got there around 6 PM, but filled up slowly. After placing an order with our server, we got some banchan at the banchan bar. They had lots of variety, from different types of kimchi to lettuce and mushrooms. There was also a hot food bar with japchae and some fried chicken bites. The food was decent, but the service was extremely slow. We had ordered some more meat, but we waited 30 minutes and it never came. One of the servers had to come back and re-take our order. Overall, the food is average, but it just took a long time to get meats. I would probably pass on coming back for the time being. Parking is easy in the large lot.

I feel like the quality of food is better than it was pre-covid. The meat is good quality and the intestines are thoroughly cleaned, very delicious. Moving banchan to the self-serve salad bar makes it easier to grab the items I want and more frequently. And for the cost, you can end up eating here cheaper than if you were to buy the items individually at the store, then bring home to prep and cook.Lastly, it's nice to have a meal made out of real food!

Great meat selections. Vegetable and other Banchan Bar was impressive. Great customer service and rapid responses from all the employees there. Feels like we were in Korea where people move so fast. Great food and Vivid environment. Sure we Will be back again soon.

We'd been on the hunt for a good AYCE Korean BBQ spot. Bull fits the bill perfectly. First off, customer service is excellent! My youngest is a VERY PICKY EATER, and they are ok with him bringing in his McDonalds while the rest of the family enjoys the bbq. Kudos to them for understanding because other places will charge us for his seat. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly and the food is yummy. They have hot and cold tables for you to get the banchan you want. The japchae is delicious. You order the meats 3 at a time and the cuts and marinades are perfect. The price is very fair for an AYCE place. Very highly recommended!!!
