Let's just say that in the United States, I understand that you can't be too demanding on taste. A 50-70% similarity is enough, but you have to at least let me know what kind of dish it is, right? Chicken Stewed with Mushrooms If you didn't tell me, I would have thought it was chicken and potatoes. The taste and color are not good, but the most outrageous thing is the use of mushrooms. Stir-fried kidney strips. I almost thought they were stir-fried assorted vegetables. There were so many side dishes and the taste was very American. Even if we can’t reach the passing mark, let’s just say that finding a good chef is really important. If the chef is the boss, 6 I didn’t say that.

Good food, good service. They serve dish that you don't often find in other places. Nostalgic dish like the pork "head" meat, and dan dan noodle. The seating can be a bit tight, adding to the nostalgic feel. We would come back again to try other dishes.

Please don’t call yourself Northeastern cuisine, okay? It’s not addictive and makes you addicted. It’s the real thing. Have the chefs in expensive restaurants ever tasted their own food? I ordered some weird sticky dishes for 87 yuan. The glutinous rice dumplings without pickled cabbage, stir-fried vermicelli, fungus, tomatoes, ground five-fresh, overnight rubbery scallion pancakes, Mapo thickened tofu soup, mediocre shredded potatoes. The restaurants in the Bay Area are pretty bad. I admit that I’m hungry. It’s so unpalatable that I still eat almost everything. Please forgive me. If the restaurant chefs try their own dishes, why don't they just buy cooking bags? At least they taste better.

Very tasty, authentic food and super nice service. The drinks cost $2, but I paid $15 for a large portion of chow mein. It was really good and can only be recommended!

I was here for lunch as they are usually closed on Wednesdays. The service is great and the good portions are big. I ordered the chicken and my friend ordered the shrimp. It tasted great and then for dessert we ordered the sweet potato dipped in sugary syrup which you have to dip in cold water before you eat as it's very hot due to the sugary syrup. This is something very special for children in China who enjoy these as a dessert. It reminded me of giving healthy food wrapped up in cheese so that kids eat healthy ?. For me the soup portion looked too big so it is advisable to go when you're hungry and can eat that big bowl. They do have a lot of options on their menu such as dim sum and dumplings as well. I will say give it a try and you will love to visit here. Make sure it's not on a Wednesday as they are closed for business.

We came in at 2 pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was busy but got seated right away. Lots of parking, The dishes are excellent. The menu offers a variety of choices. The waitress is knowledgable and attentive.

A charming little restaurant serving Northeastern Chinese and Szechuan dishes. Ordered 锅包肉 and 回锅肉 and both came out quickly. The flavor is on the light side for my taste, but everything seemed fresh. There were plenty of elders when I visited, which points to this place being authentic and well-loved by the community. Would come back!

This Chinese restaurant comes with an geographically wide selection of dishes. We did not order the southwestern spicy dishes, but the northern dishes we had were already great. The beef pancake sounded simple but was rich - the crust was as thick and rich as Chinese Wellington.

The only place in the Bay area I know of to get my favorite fish and tofu dish, now that Apple Green stopped carrying every dish I used to go there for. Here it is perfectly cooked, just to the point beyond translucence, flaking beautifully, not overcooked at all.Xlb and potstickers are not the best but edible, and better if dipped in black vinegar. Green onion pancakes are a little harder fried than I prefer but also edible.Worth it to come just for that fish and tofu, plus rice to soak up the sauce. No photos because we inhaled everything.
