I think both me and my husband ordered items that may not have preserved or stored properly. Basically. UNFRESH!! Both of us left the restaurant with stomachaches and run to the toilet throughout the afternoon. We had Mala beef tendon, complimentary cucumber with black fungus, sour mustard with pig stomachs & satay beef sautéed chow fun. The 2 cold dishes were definitely tasted old. The chow fun was warm, and we know it was not sautéed long enough because the satay sauce was splattered over. I know other foodies posted them good by the soup noodles. But ours was a flop to food & place. Definitely left an unrecommendable taste.**

While they have no fancy name, let's call it a Special Noodle Soup restaurant 和記 鷄湯米綫. I was shopping in Cupertino area and felt hungry. My sister told me about rice noodles at a Chiu Chow (Teo Chew) restaurant nearby. So, here we are. It was about an hour before closing time. Looked like they had a busy day. We were seated pretty quickly. Order from the dry erase menu was pretty simple. We both ordered from the Design Your Own menu as 1-2-3. I got tan tan soup base with rice noodles and beef tendons. She got fish noodles with 4 different pig and beef inners and original soup base. Besides noodles, we ordered a Hainan Chicken rice plate on the side. Food came out pretty quick. With the Yelp check-in offer, we got the wood ear salad and smashed cucumber salad in a generous amount. The noodles were absolutely fresh and delicious. I wish I live in the Bay Area. I would stop by here often.

This is a quickie: I ordered takeout on Hungry Panda and went to pick up my food - it was ready in 15 minutes, very convenient. I ordered duck on rice and a lemon ice tea. The duck was very tasty. I love the texture and it went perfectly well with the little vinegar they gave. It came with a little bit of wood ear mushrooms, ginger and smashed cucumber. Those accomplishments was slightly bland so I felt healthy. They also have a broth with it too which was a good surprise. The lemon ice tea was fine but the ice was gone when I got to my hotel even though it was only like a 10 minutes drive. Would recommend trying this spot out. It's pretty decent pricing too and fast service.

Closer to a 4.5. Having moved out of a Bay Area a few years ago, this is exactly the type of place I miss. The Hainan chicken plate and the salt and pepper chicken cartilage were excellent. That's definitely more food than a single person should eat, but I gladly polished both off in one sitting. I think I've been here for noodles before as well, but that experience wasn't as memorable, despite the name of the restaurant.

I enjoyed the fish noodles, it's very unique and tastes really good. The chicken based soup served the noodles very well.

Chow Chou style, part of Cantonese cuisine.Food was alright. Recommend Hainan chicken rice plate, Shacha sauce beef noodle, braised beef tendon and brisket.Don't like the fried capelin as it was full of fish roes. Skip the free soup, it is what we called "刷锅水”. (Scrapped liquid from brushing the pot.) It was totally gross and tasted just like the bottom of the pot. Yuck, please refrain from giving people free junk, just don't give it.Very slow service. Order was messed up twice but staff were apologetic. Overall clean and comfortable environment with lovely design.

Me and my family usually order takeout dinner from here after shopping in the Ranch 99 plaza nearby. We've tried their appetizers before but thought it was just ok. What we really like are their noodles and Hainan Chicken. They also changed how their menu looked since we last came but all the selections look the same. Signature Hainan Chicken over Rice 5/5: My dad's goto order. He says that the Hainan Chicken is made especially well and they cook it perfectly with the rice so that the rice has the Hainan flavor too. The best Hainan Chicken in our area. Chiu Shan Beef Stir Fried Rice Noodle with Shacha Sauce 5/5: My goto order. A generous portion of thick noodles, beef, and shacha sauce. The sauce isn't too heavy and complements the noodles well! Seafood Combo 4/5: All their noodle soup options are solid, we just like getting the seafood one. The broth is good and isn't overly salty, and there are a variety of big pieces of seafood. The texture of the noodles are also pretty good.

The chicken rice here is so good! So are the shrimp balls. The only complaint I have is that the food makes me really thirsty afterwards.

Came here today and I have to say their Xiao long bao is very good. Thin skin with lots of yummy juice and meat. The pan fried bao was also delicious. Soft top and crispy bottom with yummy juice and meat on the inside. I also liked the beef pot soup but not as much as the buns. The beef noodle soup gave you option of numbing peppers or sichuan oil. I selected the numbing peppers and it was good. Besides the soup and noodles there were sliced beef, one beef ball, one fish ball, one piece of tofu, a couple of pieces of tripe and tendons as well as plenty of veggies. It was tasty and generous portion to share with another person. I'll definitely come back for the dumplings and buns.

Pretty prompt service in seating & taking orders. Our food was tasty & flavorful, add the ginger scallion in oil to the bowl of noodles & it elevates the taste. The chilli oil is lethal - almost choke on it going down the wrong way. ?
