review is only for rice rolls fan tuan. i tried the taiwanese sausage fan tuan and my friend tried the salted egg one. we both got spicy and we both loved it (altho really not spicy). they have so much more ingredients inside and def tasted more taiwan! diff from xiaoman but another great option now in the south bay area!

The rice ball (or rice burrito ) was fishy…. They added a very generous amount of katsuobushi (dry fish flakes), as you can taste the fishy aromatic in every bite.

Good place if you're looking for fresh sugarcane juice!

I wanted to try more Taiwanese rice burritos and found this place on yelp. It's somewhat smaller than the other rice burrito place near 10 butchers. About the same price range $7-$9. Not sure why but when I ordered spicy, there was barely a hint of spice. Their rice seemed a bit harder but the fillings were good. I liked that they put less pork floss but the rice texture somewhat threw me off. I wished they slathered more spice, that would be better. I'd say it's decent but it's definitely way too far for me to go out of my way for.

Small store in a small lot. Only 2 small tables inside and 2 tables outside. Service was pretty standard and our food and drinks were ready within 5 mins of placing order. My friend and I each got the pure cane juice, and split the Signature Rice Ball and the Taiwanese Sausage Rice Ball. We weren't the biggest fans of the pure cane juice - we felt like it didn't have that much of a strong and authentic sugarcane flavor. It also tasted slightly watered down and I wish it were sweeter. The rice balls were ok too. Pretty overpriced for a fairly small portion in my opinion. The Chinese donut was also overly crunchy (saw this in another review as well), and usually I like it better when it has a slight crisp on outside and soft on inside. In my opinion, I think fan tuan are already great when they're minimal with pork floss, pickled radishes, Chinese donut, etc. I feel like they added a bunch of extra ingredients which made me feel like it was just a Taiwanese bento wrapped up in rice. Overall not too sure if I'd return again.

Very yummy sugarcane in Cupertino! definitely a place I can stop by since other sugarcane places are in San Jose. It is though on the pricer side so just be aware of that.

We went there on a Saturday afternoon, it's a new shop and have plenty of parking on the outside. This is a great place for a fan tuan fix!! Not many places in the bay area have this, so it was really exciting to see a shop that EXCLUSIVELY sells this item. The combination with freshly juice sugarcane was great!! I got the Signature Rice Ball with Purple Rice (Combo) with Sugarcane Juice. In total, it came out to be about $13.50. The texture of the rice held the fantuan together well. The egg, pickled veggies, and pork floss were all perfectly balanced in portions too. I think the biggest downside for me was the youtiao (Chinese Donut). It was overfried and waaaay too crispy. It hurt my teeth a little bit from trying to bite it. $1 extra for purple rice, and $1.50 extra for sugarcane.

Their red bean soup with taro balls is tasty! I also like the taste of sugarcane juice with lemon. The rice balls are good but should use fish floss instead of meat floss.

Best fantuan in the bay area - shame they are not open early in the morning or they would be a direct competitor to Xiaoman fantuan. Sugarcane juice is unreal

The menu/snacks looks interesting, not many places in the bay has sugarcane and fantuan together. Will definitely come back to try more of their items.I had a regular kamquat sugar cane juice. It came out exactly how I imagined it to be.

Don't bother to stop by for that lime sugarcane juice - it basically tastes like lemonade, with barely a hint of sugarcane, and it's way too expensive for what you get. You'd be better off grabbing sugarcane juice at Apna Bazaar.

Very unique. Excited to see rice burritos, not to mention fresh sugar cane juice!! Machine on site. Jasmine soy milk is so original. The burritos could be wrapped better as to not fall apart while eating.

Store looks clean and people are friendly. My first time seeing fresh cane juice in the Bay Area so that's great! I came here for the cane juice but I got the rice ball as well, turned out pretty delicious too!
