Came into the store was approached with a smile, by Ruben. this young gentleman, begin to tell me about the sandwiches, for I only orders melt burger. Told me to try new items. Then came Jorge and offered this as well! I ended up trying g new items and fell in love with a new Melt item. The team work and atmosphere of this place is great! Fresh food! Great clean areas to sit. And always a helping g hand with a smile from Ruben and Jorge. Thank you! This has been a great experience! Trust this place for your customer service needs, and quality of the product!! GREAT!!

I ordered Swiss & shroom chicken and the squid and shroom melt burger , yet, as you see the pictures, there's no mushroom at all! And the bun is all burned. I used to like the melt a lot but I'm disappointed at their quality lately. Based on their recent food quality, I think its overpriced.

Happen to find this place while I was working at a job site in Cupertino. Definitely hit the spot and walked out with a massive smile. It's really convenient having those tablets right in front of the door so you can skip the line and put in an order if you're in a rush. The burgers me and my coworkers ordered were really good. We had our mouths watering while we waited for them. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

This is our favorite Mac n cheese joint. We generally do the Mac n cheese and the house special Mac n cheese with bacon. It's delicious and a great option for my little one. He loves to eat the Mac n cheese on a sandwich like finger food

Had the impossible burger patty, this was my first time having it and it was very delicious and crispy. I think I may actually prefer it to real meat. I think their pricing is slightly high though at about 8 dollars a burger + 5 dollars for an impossible patty. Service was OK

Love this place. Great burgers. GF buns & Bread. I have enjoyed both the burger and grilled cheese & was amazed how wonderful the GF ones are too. Will be back.

Food was decent. The beverages were actually pretty unique and I enjoyed them. The menu is not very diverse, but it was a reasonable price, so I will take that trade off. The sanitation is always a concern for me, and the sanitation score was well hidden and not impressive. In that regards, I only gave it two stars. I orderd a Patty Melt, and added pickles, it was good. My girlfriend ordered some sort of macaroni sandwich, which I found to be terrible (in opinion only).

I am now officially a fan of the Meltburger. It is super tasty. It says it is a mix of angus and wagyu, I would love to know how much wagyu is in there given the ~$8.50 price...it must be minuscule. Just curious, not complaining...it tastes great. The fries and cookie rounded off a good meal.

Update: The management team at this location is phenomenal! They reached out to me to apologize for our initial experience, then offered us to try them again. Our second experience was nothing short of superb. The fries had a decent portion, the burgers were well done and the customer service is A++. I'm chalking the first experience up to a bad day(which everyone is in titled to as were all human). Our family will definitely be dining with the Melt-Cupertino again!

I'm not generally one to write reviews for chains, but my husband made me write this one since their burgers are so good and deserve some props! I've been a long time customer of the Melt chain since I lived in LA for a while and am a lover of grilled cheese; but am also happy that they expanded their menu to include burgers. Their burgers are seriously juicy with perfectly light brioche buns. Also love their sweet potato fries. Dare I say this may replace In & Out as our new fave for a quick delicious burger.....! Oh and also love that all their packaging/dishware is compostable-- woohoo! and that they are family friendly and even have a changing table in the bathroom.

I absolutely loved grilled cheese and am always down to eat it, so when I heard this was close to my house, I was so excited! I got the Mac n cheese grilled cheese with tomato soup for about $10 and was satisfied! It wasn't the best grilled cheese I've ever had, but it was good! The tomato soup was pretty good too. Didn't have to wait too long for food either which is good. Solid place for lunch, don't know if I'll be coming here too often, but definitely a good option if I'm not feeling too adventurous.

Been here twice. Great food. You can order at the counter or at a little tablet that is super straight forward. New favorite for fast casual. I dig how the owner seems to be responding in this thread.

Wow, such an experience. Came here with my whole family with two kids, and I'm just going to give bullet points of why they deserve only TWO stars. The two stars here were given mainly because of their POOR customer service. 1. We came on Friday at 6:30 pm ish, nobody greeted us. There were only couple people who dined here, family with three kids, and some couple without kids. 2. Even when we approached the counter, still there was NO "Hello, welcome to The Melt, how can I help you?" kind of greeting. Instead of waiting for their "supposedly warm welcome", I just went ahead and stated my orders. 3. I came there because I received a gift card from the YELP ELITE EVENT that I attended maybe few weeks ago, so when I talked to the guy (who was plainly obtuse and ignorant) that I had a gift card that I'd like to redeem, he just blatantly cut me "FOR HERE OR TO GO?" Yes, that was his first words he uttered to us. I wasn't even finished talking yet. My husband and I looked at each other, we thought, wow, what a service. Even McDonald COULD train their employee better. No JOKE. Or IN&OUT. Or Wendys. And this is not a fast food restaurant, mind you. 4. So I handed him my gift card. The guy literally TOOK like five minutes to process it. He needed to ask his co-workers who was grilling some burgers twice to the point she got annoyed. Why I put the word annoyed? Because he asked her twice, and the second time she said, "you still haven't figured that one yet?" 5. We ordered Swiss and Shroom' Chicken sandwich, and MegaMelt Burger, and cone of vanilla swirls. The burgers were just okay. We literally came just for the gift card. To tell you the truth, there are many burger joints in Bay Area, and because of that various options, we would not think of The Melt if we didn't have the gift card in the first place. 6. Later when we were about to walk out from the place, one white male came inside, and voila, somebody greeted him, and we were frowned at each other again. Just plainly WOW, were they trained just to be nice to some certain "people?" This bitter experience just blew my mind. If you, the owner happen to read my review. Please, consider to give another training/education to your employees. Giving bad customer service really affects the chance for the customer to come back. Also, this will give bad image for the branding of The Melt itself. The sad thing is this location is in Cupertino, where Asian-American is the major population who lives here. For sure, we will never come back to this location. I've been to the Melt in Saratoga and Palo Alto so many times, but I have never experienced bad things like this in Saratoga/Palo Alto. We also submitted our experience to [email protected].
