Subs and Grub has been my favorite sub-shop for over 35 years. It started on Lincoln Ave. and Denny, (I Believe), Owned and operated by a super nice Korean-American, out of work engineer and his wife, and they made the best Tuna or Turkey, Bacon, Avocado Sandwiches, and the subsequent owners, ( 2 that I'm aware of ), have kept the faith and the quality up to my standards, which are extremely high, as I enjoyed the OG subs.Alas, I sold my business in Cypress, so I don't get over that way enough to fulfill my Turkey, Bacon, Avo. and Tuna, Bacon, Avo. Joneses... LOVE you guys!

Best little kept secret sub shop in CA. Subs are packed full of goodness. The staff was very friendly and always service with a smile and some small talk. Loved it and you will too.Vegetarian options: Peanut butter and anything. Salads and more.Kid-friendliness: Game stations coming soon.

The sandwiches are not bad they are just not the same anymore. My husband picked us up a couple of sandwiches today, and he noticed it looked like the owners have changed and the quality isn't there anymore. The people working there seem to not care about service at all. Also, the person making the sandwhiches and taking the orders thought it was a good time to eat his food while making our sandwhiches. Safe to say we will not be going back ever these people are using the name of the shop but lack the quality and experience of service.

Ridiculously priced sandwiches for what u get. I understand that inflation, etc has caused most small biz to raise prices but this place beats them all. The reason I gave a 2 star is that the sandwich was pathetically made. The squaw bread looked like it was put through a compressor as the sandwich size was barely a n inch wide. The tuna was almost non existent and just the overall look and sloppiness of the effort into making the sandwich together with the price will not get me to return . There are plenty of choices in the neighborhood with better value.

This is the best takeout for lunch at work. They hooked me up with seven subs for me and all my coworkers. I genuinely appreciate the service they gave me from start to finish and the subs are to die for delicious.

Great subs! Just moved down the street but lived in the area before, decided to give this place a try. Got the Cranberry sandwich, got my roommate an Italian, you've just earned our business when we're craving great sandwiches. Looking forward to trying other sandwiches from this nice lil shop

I order my pastrami & Turkey salad with everything on it at least 2x a week while in the office. The meats and ingredients are always fresh and the balsamic vinaigrette dressing seems to be homemade. I have a huge appetite and the portions are pretty decent for the price you pay. Sandwiches are delicious too. Cashier is always polite and welcoming and the place is clean. Yelp reviewers got this one right.

The bread was DRY seems like it was two day's old. Asked for Italian seasoning, there was no seasoning on my sandwich, that might have made a difference. I wanted a lettuce wrap and he looked at me like he didn't know what that was. That was probably my fault it was not on the menu. They were really NICE and it was CLEAN. They do have good Gelato. Really the only thing is the bread, change up the bread.

I have been eating here for about 20 years. It was sold to new owners in the last 12 months. I was still eating here after that and it was the same as always. The prices went up, but I was willing to pay. Now, the new owners have changed their ingredients, raised prices further, started to give almost no meat in the subs and just all around altered the way they make "sandwiches", if you can still call them that when it's basically two pieces of bread and nothing else inside! What happened: I paid $15 for a large sandwich that used to cost $10 earlier this year. The sticker shock was real, but I was still going to enjoy my food. Then I opened my "sandwich"... It had four tiny round slices of turkey meat only partially overlapping. The slices were so thin and small I don't feel you can call it a turkey sandwich. That amount was about 1/6th the amount of meat the sandwich used to have. The other ingredients were skimped on as well. You would need to see it to understand... There was more mayonnaise than avocado "spread" on the sandwich. There wasn't even one full leaf of lettuce on it. There was hardly anything on the sandwich and I ordered it with all the produce they give except pickles! Not only that, but the way they prepped the ingredients is different... In short, the new owners have altered all their ingredients and now are giving almost nothing of them to boot! I feel cheated. Bottom line: I am sad about this, but after eating here for about 20 years, I have just deleted them from the contacts on my phone. I won't be going back. Two stars because at least it was edible, the oil and vinegar still tasted good and the "bread sandwich" wasn't disgusting, just mediocre and WAY overpriced.

We ordered for pickup. The Dolly sub was bigger than subways footlong, and the sub had a good amount of turkey. The prices can be a bit high, and the bread a little dry.
