I've been wanting to try this place and so finally got to try it with my husband on a Friday night. No wait got seated right away. We ordered: #6: Half ja-jang myeon/half jjam bbong - I've never had jjam bbong so I got the combo and I didn't see the chili sign coz mannn that was spicy! But I love the flavor. I actually preferred it than ja-jang myeon Fried rice with spam, kimchi - not spicy and has enough flavor Soy garlic chicken - it was dry, even the sauce couldn't really save the dryness. Flavor is good but wish it wasn't dry. Good portions and affordable for Korean food.

Had stomach issues after eating the jajamyeong last night. Also, kinda pricey but I guess that's also everywhere else too

Chick & Jajang is a casual dine-in spot. The service was fast, we got seated quickly and our food came out after a couple of minutes. They have a good amount of dishes on their menu from jajangmyeon, jjampong, chicken, and others. We got the Jjajangmyun and the Soy Garlic Chicken, they were both pretty good. The jajangmyeon is more on the saucy side. The soy & garlic chicken was crispy and tender. jajangmyeon: 4.5/5 soy & garlic boneless chicken: 4.5/5

Super solid, great food great people great service great prices. Honestly, I just had the popcorn chicken. And it was insanely good. Love it so much. Please support them.

Me and my boyfriend went as soon they opened, they SAID THEY WILL OPEN LATER THAT DAY LIKE 10 minutes later of the advertised hour so a very young rude lady told me to get out until they are ready...we did it...and we wait outside without telling anything , Then another couple came to the restaurant and they were and attended IMMEDIATELY meanwhile we still outside... we got inside like really? and they of ignore us until we raised our hands in order to be attended...another lady came to attend us no apology nothing she quietly gave us the menu and leave ..we order all of the main items with a star... the food was mediocre at best. Very sad because I was ok if they treat me bad if at least the food is good...but wow mediocre food and that SERVICE incredible, they ignored the hell out of us, the place was almost empty and we still got ignored like this 2 ladies attending were the worst rude people they could find ... I have to raised my arms again to make me noticed again to order the check ...one came hand me the check I paid with cash and she "forgot" for around 20m to give me my change ... as soon she notice I was still in the store she told me like ...yeah? And I said ...please my change? And she got it and came back annoyed like she wasn't expecting I was about to ask for my change... I did leave a tip according to the amount we consumed but (For that service I was surprised for that entitled attitude) An small store not great really but they kind of make it work , I only give 2 stars because the fried rice was presented differently that showed me at least ONE PERSON OF THAT STAFF PUT EFFORT but I WILL NEVER COME BACK AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE THE WORST OF THE WORST. Terrible service, mediocre food, and no apologies given for me was the worst place I've ever been in the whole Bay Area

Fried chicken wings with very tasty sauce. Kimchi's fried rice was very good too. It was delicious. Definitely will come back again

Noodles: 5/5 Soy Garlic: 5/5 Honey Cheese: 2/5 I saw an Instagram post of this place and I had to try it. Ordered the above for 3 people and it was perfect. The noodles were so good we ordered another one. One thing I will note for myself or for someone else, there is an abundance of sauce and not enough noodles. I will order one next time and get maybe a side of noodles if thats allowed, then the noodle sauce ratio would be perfect. But the noodles !!!!! are so bouncy and good!!$ Moving on to the chicken, we ordered two different kinds just to try. A friend wanted to try the honey cheese so we got that and I wanted the soy garlic so we got that. I personally loved the soy garlic and it tasted super yummy. Not the biggest fan of the cheese because I like my wings to be salty and that one was a little sweet. But if you like sweet and salty wings, that is perfect for you. 100% will come back and order noodles noodles noodles !

Came here for takeout before the Niners Lions game based on the yelp reviews and the popular garlic soy chicken. Ordered the Large 15 piece size and felt it was not as good as Bonchon in Westborough regarding flavor. We felt it definitely could have more of the ingredients to give it a comparable "wow factor" to the competitor.

A casual spot with a limited menu, it combines fried chicken with classic Korean Chinese food like JJajangmyeon, jjampong, etc. I tried the JJajangmyeon & jjampong (you can get half/half) plus fried chicken with the soy garlic and chili flavors (not stated on the menu, but you can also do half/half if you get the 16 piece size). Chicken was just okay - I liked the flavor of the soy garlic more but felt like the flavor could be stronger. If I came back, it would be for the JJajangmyeon. Overall, would give it a 3.5/5 but rounding up to a 4 for yelp.

Finally tried this place and it didn't disappoint. Had the seafood jajang (noodles al dente and sauce was yummy), fried seaweed roll, plain and soy/garlic fried chicken, and spicy carbonara. All delish, flavorful. Recommend to Korean food lovers. The plus was that the server was super nice and attentive. Will be returning.

Loved their jajangmyeon. The portion size was more than enough for 1 person. Their kfc was hot and crispy. The restaurant is small so you may have to wait a bit sometimes or just order takeout.

Their Gan-ja-jang is the best! Very fresh and delicious. The people are so nice and kind as well, they remember us every time and are always very welcoming. I saw tonkatsu menus, but they are not available every time we visited. We'd like to try their tonkatsu menus so badly, wish they start selling them again soon.

I love this place! Very comforting food and attentive service. The chicken wings are a must try, along with their jajang noodles. Totally recommend for a night out with friends or date night.

Always great food, great music, and all staff are kind. No complaints.Vegetarian options: Has some vegetarian options but they're not labeled on the menu. You have to specifically ask for them to make it vegetarian.

Chick & Jajang has a limited menu that has you toggle between choosing "black bean sauce or fried?" This is a fast casual spot that seems known for its wings and they do a good job, better even than legendary San Tung. I had the soy and garlic wings that came out super hot, crispy, juicy, sticky and perfectly cooked ($16.95 for 8 pieces- and they're meaty). The Incinerator devoured the sweet/sour pork dunked in a sizable bowl of sticky sauce and a side of rice. Disappointingly, they only had white jasmine rice, no purple rice. Service was brisk and pleasant. The dining room is brightly lit and feels like a Popeyes but cleaner. Definitely not slimming menu selections but if you want good wings, go here!
