A very nice, cozy sit down! The meal is very comforting on a cold day. Love all the banchan they serve. Recommend ordering their fried chicken--a personal favorite! The employees serve us well every time we come.

Wow, what a hidden gem! I recently visited Jar Jang Geum Tofu House and was blown away by the delicious and varied menu options.First, the Bulgogi (thinly sliced marinated beef) was cooked to perfection - tender and flavorful. The short ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and richly flavored. The fried chicken wings were crispy and spicy, just the way I like them. But the real standout was the Bimbimp Bap with beef in a Hot stone Bowl - the beef was tender and the rice was cooked to a perfect crisp on the bottom. And the Tofu Soup was creamy and comforting. Each dish was expertly prepared and presented. Highly recommend this restaurant for a taste of Korea in Daly City.

Was craving Korean and decided to try this tofu house out before our Sunday grocery run. It was definitely packed by the time we left, so obviously a local fave. And I can see why! Huge portions of Japchae and bulgogi, flavorful galbitang, and prompt service. What more could you ask for??

Korean lunch place with tasty dishes for mostly takeaway only as it is a very small place. I like the concept and the chill vibe but flavors could be stronger and perhaps add some condiments such as sriracha.

This spot is a must to get your Korean BBQ fix. Their lunch prices are great, the food came out really quickly, and the flavors were on point. The Kalbi Shortribs and Bulgogi beef with unlimited ban chan sides hit the spot! Definitely coming back.

Our server was very nice, she made sure we had enough side dishes and double checked everyone's order since we came in a big group. The restaurant has lots of seating, you usually don't have to wait too long to be seated, and you can call in beforehand and make a reservation. I ordered the combination tofu soup - mild and it was good! It came with beef, clams and some shrimp. The soup was delicious and not too spicy. The tofu soups also come with complimentary purple rice and an egg to crack in it.

General feeling of blandness. Really wanted to like this place and made multiple visits over the years, but no dish has ever stood out. There are many standout korean restaurants elsewhere in the bay.

Tasted like fast over cooked food from frozen / instant. Hate to say that to a small business but it was unfortunate. Barely and meet in my soup you’ll see the picture. It was not spicy and noodles tasted like cup of noodle. Side veggies were not tasty. Picture looks decent but it was not

Perfectly cooked meat, well-seasoned food. This is our go-to Korean restaurant.

We came here for dinner a few weeks ago since I was craving for some tofu soup. The restaurant was pretty busy when we got in, which is always good to see. The service was good as well, super friendly and tried to make sure we weren't being neglected amongst all the other tables. We ordered the combination tofu soup, galbi, soy garlic chicken wings and some tteokbokki. The tofu soup was nice and hot, not too spicy and definitely satisfied my craving. Both the galbi and soy garlic chicken wings were really well seasoned. My boyfriend thought the tteokbokki was good (unfortunately for me, I'm not a big fan of rice cakes so I didn't partake). The portions were pretty big enough though some have mentioned that it's pricy. We had quite a bit of leftover even though I feel like we made a dent in the dishes. For what it is around this neighborhood I thought the food was good and authentic. Will definitely be back again when we crave for Korean food again!

Poor services, no response, no feedback. The glass noodle too salty today, I feedback to the waitress and waiter, they have no response.

Food was decent; quick service: but the menu prices were going high.Seafood pancake was kind of soggy; tea was hot and fresh, tofu soup and side dishes were good.Would be back here sometimes.
