My fam and I went to SF to visit for the first time and as soon as we got off the airplane, we stopped at El Taconazo because we were starving and didn't know where else to eat. My fam and I loved this place!. The food was amazing, the service and ambiance as well!. The owner and her daughter gave us different drinks to try(aguas frescas) and even gave tips and wrote down places to visit! Would definitely visit and recommend this place !!

The portion size for the prize is ridiculous. It's not the best won't be going back. Idk why people hype it up so much.

This place has the best birria de chivo. It is a must get !! The staff is great!! Try the homemade cornbread if you have room

I had the Caldo de Camarón. It was amazing, flavorful with perfect seasonings to compliment the fresh shrimp (10 pieces). Also had fresh zucchini, carrots cabbage. Comfort food for sure! I would order this soup again!

Recently attended to this local place and just want to say ¡wow! The food was great and it is beautifully presented, the prices are not bad as well compared to other latino restaurants, the salsa was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and the food was fastly served, we ordered Chilaquiles, quesabirria and some egg with ham for the baby, they even threw in some beans and rice for him at no extra cost, the place might be a little small if you are a larger party but the place overall is very clean and nice looking.

This place really blew my mind. I've been on an exercise kick lately and trying to just do better with my health overall and I discovered it on a walk. The prices are super reasonable. The ingredients are super fresh and it was just an overall awesome experience. The red salsa was amazing and the chicken quesadilla hit the spot.

When you arrived the server brings a basket with chips served with a mild fresh jalapeño sauce. A great place to get Birria de Chivo served on the weekends only, authentic recipe from Jalisco Mexico, you can have it served with arroz y frijoles or served with caldo, I had my with caldo, served with tortillas chopped cilantro, onions with lime on the side, I was happy to have the slow cooked savory goat guisado with just the right amount of spices, clove having the higher profile, the chivo was cut in cubes with enough meat on the bones plated on a bowl with a beautiful purple flower as a garnish. The breakfast burritos are another great item to order, you can order the filling with bacon, chorizo or ham and refried beans.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available and a small but good place to bring the family for a good meal.

Michelada "super" is good because of the shrimp but it's always warm and it's almost as if they dont add all the beer to it. The shrimp soup is more of a thick tomato sauce than a soup and the shrimp taco dorados are super small and all tomato and onion. The portions here are small but the food seems fresh.

I had the lengua and the caldo de res. Both were great on terms of the flavor but portions were a lot smaller than what you get at other places. I would still recommend it and plan to comeback again.

Best food I've had in forever all the flavor in everything just hits the spot. Service is great they need to be packed because I don't think anybody knows of this place that much. Little hole in the wall and definitely the best find in sf

Best michi's ever!!! So much flavor, and the shrimp was superb. Service was quick and attentive. The restaurant was small, but clean and modern.

Not bad, fast friendly and quick to serve. Salsa was marginal but the asada meat was seasoned and cooked well. Would do well in a late night pinch

The lady taking orders is always in a bad mood as if it's an inconvenience for her to be there. I had ordered a super quesadilla and the meat was so dry... definitely will not be coming back. Not to mention the quesadilla was $15 and it looked like something from a taco truck!
