Great food, super friendly and welcoming staff, and really fun atmosphere! My family's been going here for years and every time we return we're always welcomed with open arms and smiles. The sangria is super yummy and I always love their tamales.

Not many places are like this one, one of a kind. 10/10. My mother who is a very picky eater had and amazing time here. She loved the food and the service. The waiter was very nice and polite , he told us about the rich history this restaurant has. I was just blown away on how good the food was, because it seem like a small place and maybe it wouldn't live up to the hype my friends told me about. Thank you so much for a good experience. 100% would recommendGuys just go try it!!!

Wonderful ?. It's beautifully quaint inside with movie stars on the wall. Cozy and really nice people working inside. The wet burrito ? is fantastic and the enchiladas are amazing.
I really liked having lunch at this cute little Mexican restaurant Very authentic and delicious food The service was great and the atmosphere was adorable I definitely suggest this place if you are looking to eat a delicious Mexican dish in a cute and relaxing restaurant

My elderly mother called yesterday to ask some questions about the dishes they carry then she called again today to order food for our Christmas party I was going to put in a big order 50 + dishes for me and my family but the man who answered the phone had a TERRIBLE ATTITUDE was VERY RUDE to her for asking more questions I had her put him on speaker (he said to her weren’t you the one who called yesterday I told you everything yesterday you don’t remember) very PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE ! she told him she didn’t like his attitude he said ok then he hung up on her my mother is elder and forgetful that was EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL I wouldn’t recommend this place I recommend everyone to take their business somewhere else that man who answered the phone was rude and sarcastic and had a horrible unprofessional attitude towards my elderly mother for asking questions about the different meats they carry i will never support or come back to this place he needs to be fired right away ! Or else your business will continue to sink ! And if he’s the owner he won’t last much longer if you treat people especially your own kind this way who come to support your small business TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE HORRIBLE ATTITUDE i was literally about to put in 50+ orders of different dishes for my Christmas party for my family his loss !

Just as I remember... the quality and taste of the food was SUPERB ‼ I was a longtime patron as it was my Moms favorite restaurant! I drove one by one day and realized I missed that food so I ordered that night for myself and my son and it was delicious and we were both so happy that we were able to eat Lisa 's Mexican food again! The owner is such a nice man & my family loves to support small businesses! 5 STARS !!!!!
Went to Lisa's today for the first time. I've known about this place for a few years and was told to try it and would not be disappointed. All I can say is I came out of the restaurant so happy. The food was delicious to the last bite. I usually do not eat whole meals but I licked my plate clean!! I did have the combo with Chile rellano, taco and enchilada. The rellano was exceptional!! Great service as well. A wonderful happy place indeed!!!

Food was ok here. Tortilla chips were a bit staled. I ordered a chicken enchilada and a pork tamale combo plate. Tamale was my favorite thing here. Super flavorful and delicious. It wasn't dried out like some tamales can be. Chicken enchilada was decent. Nachos we're not so great. They put lettuce on it which doesn't really make sense to me other than to serve as a filler. It gets wilted and warm and I don't really care for warm lettuce. Overall it felt like this simple dish was executed with much to be desired. Service was friendly. Restaurant was ok on the inside. Cool pictures. If I was a local I might stumble in here more often for a tamale.

Lisa's Mexican Restaurant is at the top of the hill Daly City. Have heard about this place but my first time trying with friends who are regulars. Parking around the area was easy. The decor has an abundance of artisan work, photos, drawings that yearn to tell their stories. It works, warm and cozy. Interior is a bit dark but you feel warmly welcomed by Mario in front, José and Ana in the kitchen. Started with their freshly made guacamole and house-made tortilla chips, wine and shots of tequila! Ordered: * Steak Ala Lisa - cooked w/ranchera sauce & onions. Looked good and aroma was yum. This is a special of the house. Will definitely order this next time. * José's Salad - chopped lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, grilled chicken & balsamic dressing. Tried a bite. Really really good! I'll order next time. * Enchilada, Taco, Chile Relleno combo - asked to sub whole beans instead of refried. This is good satisfying meal with a little bit of everything, enchilada, taco & Chile Relleno. The crispy taco was really good. Whatever the sauces were was tasty and, thank goodness, not heavily salty! * House-made flan - this was a really good flan, not overly sweet, melts in your mouth. Good way to end a meal! Other dishes recommended that I need to try on my next visit, Chicken quesadillas, Prawns Ala Brava, Mole anything, Menudo, and those other ones that made me go, oh yea!, grilled combo of steak, chicken, prawns, Chile Colorado & Chile Verde! I went "darn!" when I saw I missed the Agua frescas like Jamaica, Horchata or House-made sangria. See you there! P.S. Enjoyed meal too much with friends and With Mario checking in on us periodically. Unfortunately a good time like this makes me at times forget to take pictures of the dishes...

This is a small and cozy place andI was warmly welcomed by the host! Was served nachos and salsa upon arrival. I decided to have chicken Tamalee and ordered Mango tea along with it. The tea was refreshing!Chicken Tamlee came with a side of salad and rice. Everything tasted yummy! Would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.
