The food we ate is very good.We chose their specials because they have chicken, sinigang, pork, pancit, and kare-kare for 5 of us.We are from Florida, and we don't have Max's Restaurant (I think). If I am back again in Daly City. I'll definitely be here eating.

I was just there today 03/29/24, and the servers have bad manners. And the waiting to serve you is dreadful, you actually have to call them out to get your attention. Then when she comes you have this gut feeling she has insecure issues were you get this unpleasant looks and reaction from her face very unfriendly and uncomfortable. And you can tell from afar reading them at the register area that they she's talking bad the customers and probably me or the others but definitely not professional. Even the filipino old men that served us the food have bad manners when I just reminded about the rice like wow this guys have issues in personal levels! I always order from grub hub and thought to come here to check it out, the nilaga is good when it's heated but the meat didn't taste good after it got cold. The rest is good like the lumpia. Just be aware this place, that the workers here have ugly demeanors.

The Max Restaurant at the Gellert Marketplace in Daly City was the worst branch I've ever experienced. The service was incredibly poor, and here's why:My mom and I ordered crispy tokwa, fresh lumpia, and buko pandan, but after 45 minutes of waiting and seeing another table's order arrive before ours, I had to inquire about our order with Ms. Jhoy, who I assumed was the manager. She dismissed me and claimed the kitchen was preparing our order, despite other tables receiving their food promptly. When I questioned why our order was taking longer, she raised her voice and made excuses.Eventually, our order arrived, but the server admitted it hadn't been processed because it wasn't printed. This level of service is unacceptable. Although the food was good, the lack of apology and assurance from the team leader demonstrated a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

The food was ok. Crispy Pata, Lumpia and Bangus Sisig has a burnt taste. Kare Kare was dry and rice was ok. The server had a bad attitude and customer service. There was only 4 of us that dine in here and they charged us a service charger. you would get charge a service fee if there 6 people that dined in but there's only 4 of us. I tried to tell the server and didn't want to take out the charge. So I just reported it to my bank and my bank refunded me the amount. Also the service was slow and as u can see we ordered six items and 3 of them came out when we were done eating with the other 3 items.

I love Pancit Palabok. Since I look Filipino I eat Filipino food. lol. The Lechon is perfect and crispy. The Shanghai Lumpia is so good, cuz I'm Shanghainese. All kidding aside this is my got to for the best Filipino cuisine.

It's alright, the difference is the flavor because, in the Philippines, Max's restaurants are so delicious there, It's like eating your favorite food but in the US, Max's restaurants are decent they don't have much flavor, it's like eating British food, especially the Daing the Bangus, the inside of the restaurant is dirty and not that dirty just perfect amount of dirty stuff lmao.

Waited in line (still waiting btw) for more than 30 minutes now. No one has come to us or acknowledged our presence. No friendly face or smile. I know it’s a bit busy but this is not good service at all. Will not go here again. I waited here long enough so I might as well stay and eat.

The food isn’t what I am used to. I’m not sure if the tasty Chef is on vacation forever. Because we ordered Bangus, not marinated,Laing, kareKare its bland.lechon. We spent $155 .+tips.

Four two hours, I felt like I had gone home. :) Takaw-tingin and 4 takeout boxes will make my work lunch feel like home this week.

They are famous for their fried chicken. You needed to order the whole chicken. Also the sisig pork was so good. Definitely will return soon.

The pork sinigang was really good.
