This place was amazing! Let me tell you the service here was awesome! I've never been to a restaurant where they are consistently checking on you to make sure everything is good. I loved everything I had except the lion king roll. And I'm not putting down their roll because it was very delicious, I just really can't eat lion king rolls from anywhere else but a secret spot in san leandro. Aside from that everything was awesome. Also, I did kind of think it was interesting how the miso soup was just the broth and nothing else.. but it was good flavor.

Yoshi used to be one of my favorite sushi spots, and when I took my partner with me to try it recently, I was disappointed with the quality of their food. The 49er Roll & sake sashimi we ordered looked dull, dry, and not fresh. It also took awhile for us to get our check even though we asked the servers twice. Don't get me wrong, they're very friendly, but I wish they were a little more attentive to everyone instead of certain tables. They weren't super busy either

This place was phenomenal. The mixture of flavors and the atmosphere was incredible. I ordered the popular ramen and the meat was so flavorful. It was like a soft bacon full of a savory chicken milky broth. I found this place while shopping after coming back from SFO, I would highly recomend their ramen as it was full of flavor. The server was constantly checking up on me and the food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. I would defiantly come again, just not alone next time so I can share this amazing place with my loved ones.

DO NOT EAT SUSHI HERE! I'm up now in the middle of the night with food poisoning. I usually brag about my strong stomach and what I can tolerate so the fact that I'm up running to the toilet several times seems fishy to me2 stars because the wait staff was super friendly and we got a table right away. It was a cozy booth that felt private and comfortable, especially nice as a nursing mom.This is my second time here. First time I had ramen which was ok. Salty IMO. I guess if you're gonna eat here make sure it's for cooked food and not the raw stuff. I probably didn't notice the quality of the fish in the rolls because it was drenched in sauce another reason to get your sushi elsewhere
