We absolutely loved our stay here. Our room (424) had an awesome view of the beach. It's within close proximity to all the sights and restaurants we wanted to visit and enjoy as well has providing us with beach chairs and a beach umbrella to enhance our enjoyment. Although the sound of Coast Highway dropped my rating by 1 star, we still left our windows open to enjoy the sound of the ocean both day and night. Can't wait to come back!

We've read all the reviews, but we found this place to be amazing! The location is great, minus the busy Highway 1 sounds, but that can be easily overlooked by the amazing view these rooms have! We spent every morning watching the waves and ocean. Christmas Day we saw a pod of dolphins in the distance. The property was very easy to work with, the texted us and they took care of whatever we needed by text. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. One of the best things is they have an adults only hot tub! We did not have any complaints about our visit. We would definitely book here again!

I absolutely love this place! Let me tell you why you should definitely consider and probably just book here. It's right on the beach, there is a foot bridge to cross the railroad track to get to the beach. Beautiful views. The beds are comfy. We got the 2-bedroom suite mainly for the bathtub even though there was only two of us. The bathtub is huge, and it is deep, and you can comfortably fit two people in it. And the water pressure on the showerhead is fantastic, and the water is so hot. Also! They use Crabtree and Evelyn soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in full size pumps! My curly hair loved it! There is a full kitchen as well, stocked with pots and pans and dishes. Along with a full-size fridge and sink to wash stuff. The second bedroom has two twin size beds, and a secondary bathroom with a shower attached to the living room. In the living room, there's a very comfortable couch that pulls out into a sleeper sofa. Your accommodations alone I definitely recommend getting. And also, it was only $120! You definitely can't beat that for Southern California prices at a resort. I only stayed for one night on a business trip, so I didn't get to experience the other amenities that this resort offers, but I was informed that there is a sauna and a gym and a pool and they offer activities I'm definitely coming back here for a staycation. It's a no-brainer. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Read reviews. We just trusted the Hilton Brand and regret it. Worn and outdated, room smelled like old, fried food, grossly overpriced. The view was nice but in no way worth the cost. Shame on Hilton.

Horrible experience, mediocre rooms, and inefficient customer service. I stayed at their hotel last week; because I arrived before my friend, they charged my credit card, and when my friend arrived, she asked if she could charge her card and refund mine. Pretty simple request. Instead, they charged both our cards. After calling multiple times, they finally refunded my friend's card, not mine, which then necessitated, again, multiple calls and emails. Finally, after speaking with a manager, they figured out that they refunded the wrong card, and I was told that my card would be refunded. They refunded it initially, but then the charge fell off and my card is STILL charged. This has taken hours of communication, for something very simple, and is still not resolved. Avoid at all cost.

Love the staff! Supreme view of the Pacific Ocean. Easy check-in at recent trip. Fireworks from the balcony or pool. Yahoo!

Though I'm not impressed with the room decor I still love staying her as I love waking up to the sounds of the shore.I am giving the resort 3 stars because of the room decor...

We've been staying her for a few years and it has turned into our go-to place for a quick trip to California. It is right on the beach (the PCH and train tracks separate the building from the beach but it is a quick trip over to the beach). The quality of the building is getting a bit old and dated. The whole place could use a facelift and some nicer interior to the rooms, which is why I rated it average. They make up for the lacking decor with activities for the kids, two pools, free bike rentals and beach toys, and beach chairs. We will probably come back here for years to come. Just hoping they put some money into the building so it is a place I can brag to my friends about instead of vaguely stating where we are staying.

This is one of the best family vacations we've ever had! Very efficient staff, clean property, proximity to the beach and free trolley transportation, and especially the manager Dagmar in the gift shop. There is a cool scavenger hunt which she created on premises. It's a great activity for people of all ages!

This hotel is in bad shape. The outdated rooms as well as the property leaves much to be desired. The staff was rude and unwelcoming. I felt like i couldn't ask any questions. There were no breakfast places nearby. I would niot stay here again

The units are spacious enough, especially if you have a family. We don't. We bought this a long time ago and it served our purpose. I am not sure it does anymore. The cool weather did not help. The beach is not pleasant when the weather isn't good.

Stayed here with my family for Labor Day weekend. The place was super clean the guest service ensure to checked on us daily. They had a fun zone for the kids and fun zone for adults as well. My kids and grandkids loved our 4 day stay here! I highly recommend this place!

The room was sold as two bedroom. It had accordion doors for the second bedroom and no TV. The master bedroom only had one night stand and there was plenty of room for the other night stand. The master bath had two sinks but only one towel rack and one electrical outlet by the sink. The 1980's jet tub was non operational so you could not even use the tub for fear of bacteria in the old jets. In addition the tub only had safety bars in the front which made you climb over the old bath hardware to get into the tub. Some sort of machine was running all night long and created vibration and noise. The elevator was terrible and took forever.

Great location, cute market on site, nice view from room, feels very private. Staff was friendly, parking was easy, restaurant discounts were helpful. Also, within walking distance is AMAZING sushi!! Great Experience?
