This is our 4th time in Dana and my first time trying Tutor and Spunkys. It did not disappoint. The sandwiches were very good, the larges are seriously large, my wife I split one and we are stuffed. The prices were very reasonable and the ambiance is serviceable. The service was good, deli good, but good.

Just had the most amazing sandwich (Teresa's Touch) on squaw bread. These guys know how to make a sandwich! Bursting with ingredients and flavor. So good. Efficient, nice people, airy and open seating area. So good.

The sandwich tasted good, but I didn’t feel great after. I had the turkey sandwich.

The best sandwiches and service! The variety of choices is pretty amazing. Chicken salad is my personal favorite.

Truly awful. Local residents 30 years. Bread not fresh & soggy with oil. Meat & cheese tasteless, tomatoes soggy & thin smear of guacamole, not fresh sliced avocado. Squaw bread not provided on Father's veggie sandwich. Very nice gentleman Alex took phone order. Never go back.

The sandwich was just OK (very average ingredients) but the negative was the bread was not toasted (I had a hot sandwich) and it was falling apart when I bit into it. For a $16 sandwich I expected more gourmet ingredients, for example when we go to Ike's there's a lot more unique flavors and ingredients that makes the sandwich stand out from average deli sandwiches. This was comparable to grocery store deli sandwiches (Ralph's and Pavilions). Again, it wasn't a bad sandwich but it wasn't so good that would make me want to go back.

Sandwiches are trash. You have to ask them to toast the bread, even with the hot sandwiches. Who would want cold bread? The person who was supposed to take my order the second time I went in let three people go before me to pick up their food before I just walked out. I work hard for my money and I don't want to give it to a place like this.

Excellent custom sandwiches at a great price! The Squaw bread is the best! They have a menu of sandwiches that you use as a starting point, and then you customize the way you like it. Plenty of parking available. There is a little outdoor patio in the back, or you can hike about 3 minutes down towards the end of the street and sit on a bench overlooking Dana Point Harbor.

Ordered the Meatball Sandwich and was disappointed. Meatball and Sauce was good but really needs more Parmesan melted. But the thing that really was disappointing was that the bread was NOT heated at all. Pro Tip, once you load the the roll please pop in the oven for 30 seconds. I will be back to try another Sandwich.

Came up from San Diego for a day at the Ritz Carlton. Stopped in for a couple of sandwiches to eat in the park. Sandwiches were decent, and prices were absurd. Ordered a couple of turkey and cheese and specifically asked for pickles on the side. Got to the beach, no pickles or napkins. So if that's the worst thing that happened to us that day I'll take it. Pray for Israel!

I really like this place. It's the good neighborhood place with authentic sandwiches.
