We arrived and we're seated immediately. The server seemed anxious to take orders and return to the table several times even though we asked for more time before we could decide what we want it. When we finally ordered, both pastas and pizzas came out to the table within minutes. Doubt they were fresh made, in fact the pizza dough was cool and damp. I could only assume the pizza was under a heating lamp and large that's of the various pastas were thrown together to bring it to the table that quickly. We finally ordered dessert which showed up again immediately, it was a lava cake and the melted chocolate inside was not hot. And the server kept cleaning things from the table. Finally the manager came by and offered us free drinks if we would leave the table now because they had another reservation coming. The food was marginal and not worth the price. It's hard to blame the servers, I believe the management is what drives for service in our experience. We chose not to get free drinks and left never to return.

We have visited this restaurant twice. It’s located in downtown Danville and is set in a historic bungalow. There are two buildings for seating and a large patio. If you want authentic Italian food this is the place. Reservations recommended. All the servers are friendly and well versed on the menu. We have had the Margarita Pizza which was delicious! The crust is not too thick and just slightly chewy. We’ve also sat at the bar and ordered pasta dishes. The Aperol Spritz is a favorite as well as an extensive wine and cocktail list.Parking: Parking is off street, and can be busy during the weekend hours.

What a fun night at Locanda Capri in Brentwood. Great food as in all of the Locanda's and we were well taken care of! Drink presentations were over the top. Food amazing. We will continue to go to each and every Locanda.
The food was very average. The tomato sauce had no taste and was watery. The waiter was inattentive and didn't bring butter for the bread or cheese for the pasta as requested. The tables were uncomfortably close together and made for a claustrophobic environment. The room was loud and boisterous to the point of being annoying. We couldn't wait to leave.

First dining experience in Danville with similar vibe, tasty menu selections and cozy feel to sister restaurant Locanda Positano in Lafayette. Specials of Dungeness crab with creamy pasta and braised short ribs were fabulous and our server was outstanding! Well recommended Italian experience from top to bottom ?

The brussel sprouts were delicious. We enjoyed the artichoke pizza and really loved the authentic Italian crust. Our waitress was delightful. She's recently moved to the US. We thought we were in Naples for a few hours. She was charming and shared a bit about life in the old country.

Came here for Valentines Day and what a huge mistake. The seating was not comfortable. The inside pictures that are advertised are not what we experienced at all, we got taken to a back "room". If the experience that we got is what was advertised we would not have come here. That's not the reason for the review tho. The meatballs were so mushy they reminded me of baby food. The sauce on the raviolis was so salty they were inedible. Whoever was in charge of quality control tonight must have called out sick. Locanda Amalfi is so good, and this location is the opposite. Very disappointing experience to say the least. We were not taken care of at all.
We had the Salmon and Sea Bass dinners. Both dishes we perfectly cooked and came to use right out of the oven. Large servings where as neither of us could eat all dish. Server was very attentive and the overall staff very friendly.

This is one of my fav restaurants and the food is always amazing and the staff is always excellent. Unfortunately, we were seated in the new building for the first time and felt like a sardine! The tables were so close together we felt as if we were eating with the people on our right and left. Not very romantic for a Valentine's dinner out with my husband. The staff had a hard time as well moving about and serving because of too many tables and too close together.

An amazing Valentine's dinner. Our server, a sommelier, offered excellent suggestions from the extensive wine list, and foods that would pair well with the wine we selected. First class experience !!

My friend and I visited Locanda Ravello on Valentine's Day and sat inside due to the weather. The only negative about our experience was the fact that the tables for two were positioned so close together that is was uncomfortable....especially being that it was Valentine's Day. Other than that, our server was great and the food was very good, as well. I definitely would recommend this restaurant.

The meal experience was ok but I have had better experiences dining here before. Our service was a bit haphazard. We were never offered the specials which was quite disappointing since at least two of us would have preferred the special that evening. Our meals came out while we were still finishing our salads and a somewhat surly person had our dishes and basically we had to clear our plates to accommodate her. Eventually another person came over to grab plates from us but not everyone was finished. Our service in general seemed to be more of an after thought rather than a focused effort. Most enjoyed their meals but eggplant was quite bland. I had three new diners to the restaurant and it was not the impression I was hoping to provide.
