I contacted Danville bowl on Monday of this week to reserve a few lanes for a party of 10. The gentleman on the phone told me they only make reservations for parties of 12 and over. I let them know I did not have 12 people and he said we cannot make a reservation unless it is 12 or more. I called back an hour later and let them know we had expanded our party and we will now have 12 people. He gave me the pricing and details for booking the lane and let me know we would have three reserved for our party. He told me that I needed to come in in order to fill out the paper work and pay for the party. It is now Wednesday and I drove to Danville bowl and was told that they do not make reservations for Wednesday nights. I asked the manager, how could this be? I just spoke to one of your employees two days ago and he gave me all of the details and told me to come down and make the reservation. The manager then proceeds to badmouth the *Now fired employee and tells me that he was not a very good listener. I let him know that I was in charge of putting together a group activity for a corporate team building activity for next week. I asked if there was an exception that could be made given the circumstances. I was told, no sorry. I do not recommend anyone to make a group reservation at this location in the future. I will absolutely be passing along this information to our event and planning coordinators at my corporate office!

We have been coning to Danville Bowl our entire lives and have never once had a less then awesome time there. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone we come in contact with from the front desk to the bar to the restaurant are all terrific. They even went next door to get us some NA beer since they were out. That is above and beyond in my opinion! I would and do recommend Danville Bowl to anyone who likes to have fun with great service.

This is my go to place to hang out. People are friendly , everybody seem to have a good time. It gets busy now during the winter time so you have to be patient. Bar is a great hang out. a lot of regurlars come in. Everybody nows everybody.

I love this place. If you want a foo foo bowling alley pretending to be a night club that doesn't grease the lanes...pick somewhere else. If you want to have fun and be able to bowl on solid lanes at a place where if you've been there a few times, people remember you and say what's up...do Danville Bowl. It's a staple of Danville and it's dope.

In this world where golf courses, rollar rinks and bowling alleys are all selling out to big developers, I commend the Danville Bowl for continuing to provide a wonderful outlet for us and our children. All the haters need to think about this. There will be nothing left but the video games we shame our children for playing if we kill this place too. Staff is great! Get out there and have a good time and bowl!!

I don't understand all of the haters out there; I've been here several times and have experienced nothing but welcoming, friendly staff. From bartenders and waitresses remembering my favorite drink, to the pleasant people running the front desk. I highly recommend for a fun, casual night out

I will brief here, until I went into Danville Bowl on new years eve 2017, I had not bowled since I was a little kid. I had such a good time there I (and my wife) ended up joining the Thursday swingers league. After this we joined the Tuesday night League. EVERY single time we have gone there has been a great time. The staff is great, Steve, Paige. Justin the President of operations (owner) is very devoted to the Bowling center, often times he is working from 9am to well after midnight. He also takes the time to bowl with us and interact with every one there. I HIGHLY recommend Danville Bowl to all my friends.

The place was packed today because it was raining. Kids running around all over the place, mine had a blast. Staff was working hard to make sure everyone was having a good time. It must be tough to try and please everyone when it's so crowded, but they did a great job.

Outstanding management and facilities. I've had nothing but great experiences at Danville bowl. It is a go to spot to hang out in the east bay!

So the girl at the counter was being very rude. 1 she said that the bumpers were only for 8 year olds.2 our lane there was something wrong with it and the pins would not pop back up and every time we told her she would be very rude about it. Also we waiting an hour just to order a drink and the man would not come up to even ask us so we had to order something to the vending machine. Overall I would never recommend coming here if only I got the name of that lady...

We were there last night and the customer service at the bar was terrible. It was a bald bearded man. He is not well under pressure. The soiled patio furniture and shitty bartender both need to go

1 star for the dumbest baldest longest beard moron bartender you can imagine guy doesn't understand English.. Try hiring somebody with at least half a brain to run your bar that isn't a complete dick head doesn't understand the difference between yes and no absolutely never going back to that establishment again trim that disgusting beard it's getting in people's drinks.

There are many things Danville bowl could do better and here goes.... Customer service is really hit and miss but mostly miss. I asked for two lanes next to each other since our group was larger and that required asking another guy working who once summoned didn't do much of any looking on the computer... we were told they didn't have two next to each other... so after taking one lane and Going to it we noticed a lane empty next to us... I went back and asked specifically if that lane was open?? Yeah. It was... so got that figured out on our own. It seemed like nobody cared. As a customer having to advocate for service is a bad sign. Second, I tried to get a beer. I stood at the bar for 15 minutes in plain sight and no matter what I did, the bartender continued to serve "townies" cheap well liquor who were already drunk and showed up after me on either end of the bar. She forgot that there were people in the middle? Really Bad service. Would have been reassuring if she acknowledged her failure when after I had to holler at her that she passed me up 5 times... but no. Clearly I was an inconvenient guy trying to buy a drink. Last, when we were finished bowling I went to pay... and holy cow. I was first to the counter to pay off our "bowling debt" and meanwhile some new customers showed up and the guy couldn't figure out who to help first. He addressed me and I said I need to pay for our lanes and he said ok... then walked away to help the new people who showed up after me who wanted a lane and 5 pairs of children's shoes. WTF? So I had to stand there for another 5 minutes while he assisted them and finally I handed over the card... after a series of really incompetent and absent service I should have just walked out and not paid. Would anyone have known? Nope! 3 games for 6 people cost us 140 dollars midday on a Sunday. And 3 of us had shoes!!!! That is highway robbery. For a place that hasn't been updated in 40 years, can't figure out how to serve customers, can't serve drinks, AND has bathrooms that are disgusting and busted up with stalls that don't lock (at least in the men's room). Even worse my wife used the women's restroom and one toilet stall had no door... and to make matters more juicy there was p*** on the floor. Jesus tap dancing Christ... This establishment is a real turd. BUT if you wanna bowl for free...you could!!!!!. Just ask for a lane and walk out when you're finished and don't pay. They're so incompetent they won't notice.

I really appreciate the hospitality of the staff!! My brother and I were bowling there last Thursday night 9-11:30ish and with a slow night I was surprised that we didn't feel any pressure to leave as we were playing $1 games. Super nice place to bowl.

Everytime I've been here the place is literally crawling with children. I've never able to get a lane, their bar is stocked with patio furniture, and drinks are served in plastic cups. Need I say more? Oh, the bathroom stall door rusted off the hinges. I like dives but this is a dump.
