I've been coming to this restaurant for more than 10 years. Great service, friendly waitresses/waiter, nice and clean restaurant, authentic Thai food. Ordered tom kha chicken soup, chicken satay, pad see ew, green curry and Thai basil chicken. All tasted good. They even packed our leftovers at the end. If you love your food to be Thai spicy, let them know (request a 5 star spiciness). Definitely a great Thai restaurant to eat in San Ramon.

This quaint place is a favorite of the locals. The bar is well stocked and well attended by local ladies. The food was delicious but the service was spotty. I think they were short handed.

Best Thai food. I grew up in Danville and when this restaurant opened my family regularly went. I always had the pineapple fried rice. It's AMAZING! The service was always wonderful.

Not leaving five stars because I have seen better. That said, they are my neighborhood Thai restaurant and we keep going back to them. Very hospitable, honest, comfortable and clean. Food tastes good, and I always rget it on time so the service is also great. They have never messed up my order and always seem to have that extra gear, whether it is to get the food ready faster, having that extra chair or just a smile when you need it.
The pumpkin curry is very creamy and tasty - needs more pumpkin as despite it coming in a half of a kabocha bowl, it didn't have enough kabocha chunks to split between two of us. You can't go wrong with the pad Thai - it's a standard and hard to err with this one. Lemon grass chicken was the one dish we would all skip - it needed to be more savory than sweet - and we could t taste the lemongrass as the sauce was quite thin and not flavorful. Service was excellent - water was refilled, we were greeted promptly and seated right away. Ordering was easy and our food came out quickly. We got there at 6:30 and the place really filled by 7 pm on a weeknight.

I have definitely lost count of how many times I've been here. Similian Thai is not only conveniently located but also has very authentic Thai food that is consistently good each time. The service is excellent and the waiters know my order right when I walk in. The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent with decor from Thailand. Overall highly recommend.

We have been going here for a while, the food is mediocre . We would go there more for the ambiance of a quaint small town restaurant that is in local town. We have a service animal which she always comes with me since . The manager the other day that knows us well all the sudden told us we had to sit out of the area we usually sit because of our dog which is all of 7 pounds, very well behaved, even without asking to verify her card again .They are very unprofessional and very offensive and we will not be going here again. Louis Thai restaurant food is better and better service , atmosphere is wonderful, that's our new spot now.

Food is so good. I've only gotten take out but it never disappoints. Penang curry is my favorite, along with the spicy catfish. Papaya salad was a little bland but still good. Theres a lot of great options on the menu that I will be going back to try. Hits the spot every time.
