I have been wanting to try the food here. I walked in. It was not very inviting. Someone came out to help me. They were no help at all. Just stood there clicking their pen sighing trying to get me to order. Maybe try being nicer to new customers helping with the menu and so forth.I left without eating. Not all I want to be treated when I'm trying a new place

Amazing fusion of Indian and American food. They have wide creative options to select from and they are just bliss for you taste buds. They also serve healthy options like quinoa and nailed it.

Don’t be fooled by the outside of this place. It’s in a strip mall, but the food is DELICIOUS. Super fresh ingredients and loved the flavors. I had the Chicken Tikka Sandwich and my wife had the Reuben Sandwich, both were super delicious. Pasta salad had blueberries, beets and other yummy ingredients and was great too. Super friendly staff.

Well, this was my first time at Sow G's. Honestly, I learned about this restaurant as I was walking my dog at a park in Danville. The Lady named Lisa kept telling a friend and I how great the food was and urged us to try it. It is on Diablo street to the right of Smart & Final. I have been to the strip hundreds of times but never noticed Slow G's. I guess the name comes from the method they use to cook their food slow on low heat!!!! I love Indian food and the menu had some Indian fusion type sandwich and meals. I ordered the Chicken Tikka sandwich. It is like Chicken Tikka Masala in a sandwich. In short, it was outstanding. I was there at 12:30PM and it is now 6:47PM and I can still taste it. The spices and flavor just exploded in my mouth. The bread was very unique and it was something new as I had never had such bread. See the photo so that you can appreciate what I am taking about. Also, after I ordered my sandwich, I struck a conversation with the young man behind the cash register. He was very friendly and told me about the restaurant and the food. He said next time I go there I should try their spicy Biriyani. I assure you that I will and very soon. Also, while I waited, I walked over to a display board on the wall and had a lesson in self-motivation and overcoming difficult times. It was as if God put there for me to read. See the photo, Great job and great food at Slow G's.

I popped in on the way home for Mt. Diablo for a cup of coffee and was amazed at this little gem. The coffee is perfect. I wasn't expecting such care for a cup of coffee or for the milk to be warmed for me. As I stood there reading their chalkboard menu (I love chalkboard menus)...I decided I am definitely going to drive out there again to order from the menu. One regular customer said I had to try everything, because everything is so good. I am not surprised. I realized today how much I miss locally owned businesses. The person who helped me, presumably the owner, was so incredibly nice. The experience was worth more than the cup of coffee...and I'll definitely be going back!

Can't believe I just tried this place for the first time. Absolutely AMAZING!!! If you're tired of the standard basic run of the mill sandwich shop (like we were), you MUST give Slow Gs a chance. Bursting with flavor. Nice standards and some new flavors on unique warmed options. Pasta salad was an after thought and ended up being our favorite. Add this to your family meal rotation. 6 stars!! Team behind the counter beyond friendly. Loved it.

We moved out of the Bay Area to the Sierra foothills, but there are a few eateries I still crave regularly - and this small sandwich shop is one of them. The creativity and quality of the food, the warmth of the service, and even the inspiring quotes on the walls all combine for a memorable lunch experience. Don't miss it!

Holy moly, I'm currently inhaling a tikka masala sandwich, and it's incredible. I don't even like sandwiches. Super flavorful and spicy, absolutely loaded to the brim with protein, and a nice warm meal on a cold day. This place is the only eatery in a bit of a radius (besides taco bell) and we're really lucky to have it be this quality. The staff are always beyond friendly, have tunes playing and are jamming along as they work, and are really patient with helping to navigate their extensive menu.Parking: shopping center lot

Daughter and I grabbed a gluten free pork sandwich with a blueberry dressing and a roast beef sand with swiss and pesto (red onion on mine please) on a ciabatta roll and they were delicious! Nice atmosphere and a friendly staff. Quick service and a place to eat outside if you prefer. Great service, wholesome food and large menu, vegan if you choose. I happened to spot this place on google map as we were in the area, so glad I did!

Got an avocado and egg sandwich. He said it'd fill me up for six hours. It's been six hours, I'm still full. Delicious! (And they don't use salt, so it's way healthy. They explained to me how they use their own special spice blend to provide a ton of flavor.) I was shocked it didn't have salt.

Got the chicken and cheese sandwich and chicken avocado. Man, this place is legit. Everything was fresh. Very tasty. Wish this place was where we lived in Reno. Incredibly friendly folks working there. Great job, y’all!

This is, in my opinion, the best sandwich place on the planet. In terms of freshness, creativity, quality... pretty much any criterion. The Root Sandwich (sliced pork with pickled beets and carrots) is one of my favorite foods anywhere. My love for Slow G's knows no bounds.
