Came here for the first time with my husband and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish! It was very fresh and sashimi portions were large and nigiri well made. The restaurant is really small and seems family owned and the chef and staff are all very nice and welcoming. This spot is small and cozy and we were pleasantly surprised. It had a sense of authenticity the moment you walk in. We came on a Wednesday evening, right when they opened. We were greeted by the sushi chef behind the sushi bar. Soon after we were shown our seats, we were offered complimentary edamame. SLOW service. Entered an empty restaurant and got our food over an hour later. BUT, the food was worth the wait. And the service was friendly. If we didn't have theater tickets, we would have been happy to spend our time.
