The sushi is really good, all ingredients taste high quality and fresh. The plate situation is odd though, as they are stored on top of the wooden separator between every table, so they are sometimes a bit dusty. Other than that the restaurant is amazing, with really nice staff.Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetarian roll options, which my friend really appreciated

Yes!!! This is a place to definitely try, they have Great sushi. We walked in without a reservation and they were very accommodating and friendly and sat us immediately. My husband is not as picky as I am. I am sensitive to cleanliness and this place is very clean. I also like to see pictures of the food to see if it looks good to me and on the menu you can look at the rolls. We also came here to celebrate a friends birthday on another occasion, they were Wonderful and came out with a dessert ? and did fun celebrating with us. Excellent place, 5 stars ⭐️

I like the food at this place. The sushi is excellent. Don't go here if you're looking for a fancy restaurant for a Big date but if you're just interested in some really good sushi give it a shot and it's usually not very crowded because it's a little off the beaten path of where the other restaurants are.

I've been here over 10 times, so I feel positioned to review. This is a Japanese restaurant tucked back from the street in a strip mall setting. The space is quite large. To fill the walls, they've found some unusual pieces depict celebrities and sports figures. My mother didn't care for the ambiance - but since I like large spaces, I'm ok with it. It's certainly not "formal". I also appreciate that the booths are separated so that the diners are not jammed together - and since the place is soo large, that isn't like to happen anyway. This is therefore a good place for large groups not looking for formality. Standard expectations of the menu - with the benefit of there being a vegan plate option. Overall, this is standard Japanese, executed well, solid reliable service delivered in an unusually large space.

Terrible service. Waited for 2 hours. Checked in after about an hour and got told it was being made. Then got told they were missing one chef so it was going to be slower. At the same time we could see other people who got here later being served sushi before us. For our wait we got 1 free miso and 1 free edamame, we are a party of 7 and usually miso and edamame are complementary. Left and went to Akira.

This place is a Hidden Gem. Portion sizes and variety are perfect, especially for the bento boxes.
