We ordered a lot of different dishes including nigiris and sashimi. We enjoyed the fried tofu a lot and also edamame for appetizers. Unagi nigiris were good as well. The rest of the sushi dishes were okay. Fish could be fresher as there was a slight fishiness to it that I didn't enjoy. Presentation and service were both good.

Calamari app is very good especially the sauce it comes with. Fish is fresh, the restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, lots of seating available. I would recommend the Japanese mafia and lobster mania. Both are incredible. A bit pricey. Although, worth it.

AVOID - I walked in for the 3rd time since I've been visiting my son here in Davis. All good until tonight - Creepy unattractive/less attractive Kiley was Jealous of the great attention that Drop Dead Gorgeous Courtney - who was informed that 1) that was my son's girlfriend when he was 15; 2) she looked like a movie star 3) I was planning to write a song about the two bartenders, Megan and Matthew and how I'd written a song about Taylor Swift becoming the next Vice President; and 4) I hoped to see her again tomorrow night. Kiley insisted on inserting herself into the mix - apparently she feels it is necessary to share her unhappiness with me. Muy Malo Kiley. If Kiley is not there - this was the first time I'd been here when she was around - it's okay. Otherwise avoid.

Finally made it to this restaurant. It was worth the wait. The food is amazing. We had the DMC lobster roll it was the best roll I have ever had. Everything was really good. I like the atmosphere which can be a bit loud but still has a warm feeling to it. We had the lychee cocktail that was yummy! A bit pricey but so worth it. I will be back.

We enjoyed this place very much. The fish was very fresh and nicely presented. We sat outside on a nice day and the service was good. Prices were typical for sushi on the area. Everything was very clean and stylish without being pretentious.

I do not like sushi and most fish BUT tooooo many of my friends do. So we went to Mikuni a couple years ago and it was SO GOOD, I continue to go! I got a salad, soup, edamame and a veggie tempura roll of some sort! It was tasty and I felt fancy and included in the whole sushi experience! Since my first time I have eaten here multiple times. I asked my sushi loving friends if its good sushi or is it just me!?! After they laughed at me they ALL AGREED and said YES for the people who eat sushi its GOOD!

we came in at 3:30ish on a Friday and got seated at the sushi bar right away and we were greeted by the entire staff on the floor including the sushi chefs. our server let us know that we would be ordering everything through the sushi chef except for kitchen appetizers. we started with the yuzu calamari and omg soo good!! then we got both the hamachi aburi 1 and sake aburi 1 and OMGGG THAT IS A MUST!! them we got the garlic salmon but there wasn't really garlic anything on it and i wish it was avocado slices instead of mashed avocado but it was still delicious. then we Kaiser roll and a Fresh roll and was so good. our server only checked on us one time which was fine until we had to wait about 10 minutes for our bill. honestly was fine for us because me and my sister were just sitting and talking. the sushi chefs checked on us about 3-4 times and were super sweet!! we will 110% be back to try some more sushi! The restaurant was also very clean and honestly a super cute spot.
