I love visiting Philz and the coffee is always good. I’ve ordered on the app several times without issue and it’s always ready in a reasonable amount of time. It is very expensive for a cup of coffee, but it’s a nice treat when I feel like splurging.My main complaint is that I really think they should have a second location in Davis or even just a second story on top of the current location. I know it probably won’t happen, but having a second story seating area with big windows and lots of comfy chairs would be so awesome! While there’s already a lot of seating, I often find that there aren’t any spots available inside, so I sometimes wish they had another location or more space.

I usually get the same thing at Philz. a large philtered soul, extra sweet and creamy...the Davis location probably makes it the worst of all locations. It's almost just watered down, not sweet or creamy. I feel there has to be someone quality controlling this.

There was only one woman working behind the counter,, and despite how busy it was,, she was very friendly and got our coffee out very quick. The inside was clean,, and lots of available seating. The coffee was delicious as well !

Mobile ordered was given a est time of 30+. It was mid am on Saturday so ok surprised but understandable that they would be busy. Waited until my estimated time still nothing, they were obviously busy inside but order line was dead 15mins after my est time I finally ask and they had NO record of my mobile order?? So here I am almost an hour later after I have mobile ordered still no coffee. That's it all I ordered was a coffee. Insane. I can get being busy but almost an hour for a coffee. No thanks never again.

I don’t often have money and time to get a $7 cup of coffee, but it is a nice treat. Was up early, figured to get one on the way in. Ordered at 7:45, ready at 7:55. Perfect. Went there at 8:00. Only about 10 people there, no line. Great. Check for barista to check in with. App says updated to pickup at 7:15. Ok, will wait , tight timeline though. . Updated pick up to 8:25. Can’t do it, just leave to get to work. Now, out $7, no coffee, and my pick up time is now 8:30. Now 8:35. Now 8:50. Note, my order was just 1 black coffee. No way to cancel and get my money back.

We are true Philz fans. We know that there is a wait for each cup, but today was not acceptable. We ordered our drinks at 7:22 am. We walked out of the store at 7:41 because we did not plan to wait over 15 minutes for our drink.We saw other customers after us getting their drinks. One of the staff was assisting the team, but left them to do an interview. We know because they were sitting behind us.What a way to start the morning. Please prioritize your customers, or you will lose them. We were not happy at all.

I love Philz, it's so clean and friendly, and the vibe is immaculate. I don't often like reviewing chains, but when it comes to my favorites I feel the need to. I drive from San Fransisco to Sacramento often, I regularly make stops at this location for how clean it is, and how friendly the staff is. Philz Coffee has an amazing product and I will always look forward to my first sip, my last sip, and every sip in between.

Great spot to get some cool coffee choices. They have hot and cold selections as well as teas. The inside is spacious and it has a nice atmosphere for drinking your brew. Plenty of tables and chairs and most likely you’ll find groups of students/estudiantes studying there as well. There are also some outdoor seating options as well.
