Always incredible service and the menu is incredible! My favorite is the branzino, but I've never had anything I dislike. The restaurant is gorgeous and the open kitchen with the wood fire oven is so cool. Can't recommend enough!

Sadly, we're giving up on Seasons after many years of good dining there. The menu has become restricted to regional arcane, exotic foods, with zero attention paid to American tastes and preferences. Last time, the on-line menu listed cheeseburgers but when I asked server about the listing she practically shrieked at me saying they didn't even have the ingredients for such an item. At the very least, it would be more honest if your on-line menu jibed with your real menu which stretches from tofu to high-priced fish shipped in from who knows where.

As always, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was very flavorful. I was looking forward to the Nicoise salad with the tofu steak, which I had had last time, but alas, it was no longer on the menu. But I ordered the Fattoush and added the tofu steak and it was delicious. While the wine menu for glasses only is a bit limited, we did enjoy the wine we ordered. Thank you!

Finally, Seasons, with the food of its new chef has the best restaurant in Davis! Amazing, heading for a Michelin Star! I cannot review one or a few dishes as they are all over the top delicious. Goat was just added to the menu: the most eaten meat in the world and much better health wise than beef! Keep it up Katerina!

Great host. Fab server, John. Nice food runners. Food was DELICIOUS. Hummus with pistachios and fresh mushrooms. The beet salad was divine. Short ribs out of this world. Vegan chocolate wonderfully decadent.

We hadn't eaten at Seasons since before the pandemic. The remodel is lovely, but the food was inedible. If I had to describe it I would say it was some sort of Eastern European-Middle Eastern fusion. Not an appetizing mix. One dish, called chicken stew, combined couscous, pomegranate and walnuts with a lot of cabbage, carrots, celery, and shredded chicken and was so sour. On top of the uncomplimentary flavors and ingredients, the menu items we ordered were served to us with mystery ingredients in them that were not noted in the menu descriptions. The whole experience was strange. We do not recommend eating here, sadly.

Was disappointed with nearly every dish my family and I ordered. I specifically remember the pizza falling flat, since the pizza dough was not crispy at all. Was excited to try out the new menu but this didn’t hit the the mark for me.

The food is superb. The modern Lebanese cuisine the chef there makes is a wonderful addition to our city. We have been there twice now and have enjoyed everything we have ordered. The whole Branzino is a must-try, and the goat tagine was delicious.

TLDR: Do not go here on Valentine's Day and if you give them a chance, don't sit near the bathroom. I want to give Seasons a 1-star review based off my experience on Valentine's Day, but I do like this restaurant and want to see them succeed.Their wait staff should be praised as I am sure they had to deal with complaints all night. The thing that bugged me the most is only if you complained loud enough did you get the attention you needed as well as deductions to your check. It's unacceptable not to do this for all impacted by the Valentine's service. Read more below. The Valentine's Day service ruined what was meant to be a special day for couples. We had a reservation at 7:30pm and the line was out the door which I had never seen at Seasons before. I think we were seated 30minutes later. We were immediately served water, but the waiter took a very long time to take our order (for a prefixed menu, we didn't need that long to choose). The time in between each course was unacceptable. It would take almost 30 minutes for each course. We weren't served the main course until 9:30! 2 hours after our reservation time. I understand the staff was overworked, stressed, but it would have helped if they had better planning and practice beforehand. It seemed to be their first time ever doing something like this. I expected more out of a seasoned restaurant like this one. The main course was not what was described on the menu and it was anti-climactic (barley risotto which should have had squash but didn't and hasselback potato with ny strip). We didn't leave until 10:30 so our dinner took 3 hours. 3 hours on a week night when we had to get up at 5am to go to work the next day! I was so tired I had to call in sick the next day. It's ridiculous. That should never have happened. What's even more ridiculous, is that only if you complained loud enough did you get any type of compensation or attention. The couple next to us would voice their displeasure every time the waiter came by. He even glared at us when we got our soup course before he did. I did not appreciate this. I know his bill was heavily discounted due to his complaints because I heard him say as much. My fiancée and I did not want to add to the stress so we didn't want to mirror this customer's obnoxious behavior, but we were feeling the same on the inside. This was supposed to be a special night and it wasn't. Why couldn't we have received a round of drinks on the house at the very least or a discount on our bill? Why does it have to only be the person who's the loudest? On a separate note that I would like management to handle: the bathrooms are not what I'd expect at a fancy restaurant. There's water (maybe other liquids) and tissue all over the women's bathroom stall. And if you have a table too close to the bathroom you can smell the cleaning products. The last time we went to Seasons we were seated near the bathroom, and I absolutely hated it. So please rethink and fix the issues there. I may give this restaurant one more chance, but all things considered I have good reason to never return. I wish Seasons luck in repairing this. I imagine it doesn't feel good to know that many, many couple's nights were ruined.

Good food for the price. Servers were amazing and helpful but the wait time in between appetizers and mains were painfully long. But they did give us a complementary dish which was super nice of them

Seriously, I want to support local businesses, and I refrain from writing negative reviews. But tonight? Valentine's Day? What to say that is positive? Let's focus on the staff: overworked, stressed, and sincerely apologetic to everyone. We stood in a line that went out the door for our 8pm reservation. Finally seated at 8:25, we were informed that it was strictly a fixed price menu tonight. That was not mentioned when I made the reservation. Ten minutes after being seated, water was brought to the table. The overworked server then took our drink orders. Fifteen minutes elapsed, no drinks. The couple next to us got up and walked out. I spoke to management and said we were leaving soon if service didn't improve. Another couple said they had been there 2 and a half hours, still hadn't received the final course, and informed staff they were leaving. At this point, well past 9, we informed our server to cancel our order, and left soon after finishing the drinks that had belatedly arrived. He was extremely apologetic and said that the restaurant had not planned well for the evening. Perhaps we'll give it another try, but experiences like this leaves one hesitant to return.

I wish I didn't have to write this, but we have now had not one but two extremely disappointing meals here. The first time we ate here it took forever to get our food and it was average, but given the cute atmosphere, we decided to go there for Valentine's Day and give it another shot. Boy did we mess up. First, it was unclear online and when making reservations that for the prefixed menu you had to choose either all the vegetarian dishes or all the meat dishes instead of deciding by course. This was not indicated anywhere so we were surprised when we were told this when we sat down. Not the end of the world. However, the wait between courses was intolerable and inconsistent, for example we waited 30 mins for a scoop of sorbet. On top of that, the food after the second course was just not good. My soup was barely room temperature while my partner's was boiling. The soup was covered in oil. My filet was tiny, chewy, and noticeably smaller than others we saw. Meanwhile, my partner's course looked and tasted like oily Mac and cheese. We barely touched our mains and just asked for dessert. It was that bad. I mean the potato that came with the filet was not even fully cooked. Everyone around us also waited 20-30 minutes or more for each course and there was a line out the door clearly from people waiting to be seated (who had reservations) but couldn't because no one before them was getting their food on time. The wait staff looked like they were trying, but clearly these issues stem from the kitchen. We went to chipotle after spending $200 + on dinner. Save your money. Do not do it.

I was hoping we had a great experience for Valentine's Day but nada. They were not prepared for the influx of people and we waited hour and 45 mins to get served. Not acceptable.
