Went there for a romantic dinner with my wife. We were on our honeymoon and wanted have some delicious food and a nice glass of wine. And we were not disapointed. Been coming here for a few years now and Cucinca Entoeca always delivers a experience to remember

Octopus

The octopus appetizer was excellent. Loved the charred flavor of the octopus and the Mediterranean gigantes salad was delicious accompaniment. The meat of the braised short ribs was tough, not melt in your mouth tender as expected, and the tomato sauce lacked flavor. Lackluster wait staff. Lovely atmosphere but very noisy.

Went to this place for valentines and had a nice dining experience! Focaccia was the star of the night, my friend and i love bread so we rate it a 9/10 My friend rated their pasta a 7.5/10 (a short rib pasta) I got an eggplant based pasta i will also rate it a 7.5/10 Our wines were different but mine was so yummy and worth the price, my friend didn't enjoy theirs as much but the wine selection was very nice to see! Overall the experience was good, the ambiance was also nicely lit and service was great and detailed. I would say it's keeping itself from a 5 because it just didn't feel comfortable? Maybe it was a mix of the seating and the atmosphere? But definitely a good place for a date night !

I have frequented Cucina Enoteca numerous Times over the last 10 years and granted it was busy last night but one of our servers was really curt and rude. When we asked for larger plates for our shared salad for 4 as we were doing everything family style he argued with us. I pointed out that they had taken our cutlery after our appetizer and he totally ignored me and didn't come back with any new sets for us so we had to wait till we could catch the eye of another server. When we asked which pasta was which as one of us doesn't eat meat he seemed annoyed with us for asking. Our waitress Allison was lovely but also MIA half the time. We were a table of 4 who are not demanding customers. Also when a salad costs $39 and is said to be family size I except a little more of the added ingredients and not a bowl full of lettuce and also a little more taste to it. The Brussel sprouts and mushroom pizza were delicious !

Meal was outstanding. Pizza, burger, salads, dessert. Perfect Father's Day Tuesday splurge. Little pricey but overall good value! Music was a bit loud & not my choice for dining. Otherwise, great!!

Cucina enoteca is a San Diego gem!The menu at boasts a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes, and I was particularly enchanted by their mouthwatering squash blossoms. These delicacies were a true testament to the chef's dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The crispy yet tender squash blossoms filled with flavorful goodness left my taste buds dancing with joy.Every aspect of my visit, from the impeccable service to the charming atmosphere, contributed to an unforgettable evening. The attention to detail and passion for culinary excellence at Cucina enoteca is truly commendable. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine or simply looking for an outstanding dining experience, this restaurant is an absolute must-try. Five stars without a doubt!

It was just fine. My friend had the steak and she thought it was awful. I had the chicken Milanese and it was just fine. There are so many amazing restaurants these days I cannot imagine rushing back here.

Best Bolognese in San Diego! No need to look at the rest of the menu. The service is always good. It is a little loud for quiet conversations but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

From the hostesses, bartender and our waiter, it was a really lovely experience. My friend and I enjoyed drinking wine and having the meatball appetizer and never once felt rushed to turn over the table. It has always been a favorite spot to eat at in Del Mar.

Everything that I've ever ordered off of this menu has been delightful, the Italian chop salad is one of my top five favorite salad in North County San Diego. I love the vibe of this restaurant. It's very clean and energetic. I love the eclectic decor scattered throughout. The service has always been consistently divine!
