I love that a Starbucks is here because it gives me an affordable place to get a snack and go to the bathroom when on runs. Order ahead is a life saver too so I don’t have to stop for too long. The employees are really cool and helpful. They have great outdoor seating too so if you are looking for an affordable place to sit and do some work near the beach this is the place to do it.Vegetarian options: They have impossible breakfast sandwiches here and will also accommodate to make anything they can vegetarian or vegan.Parking: As far as I could see there is only street parking or a paid lot at the church a little up the hill. Del Mar is very walkable so we just parked down the street and stopped on our way around town.

Waited over 15 minutes for a cup of coffee. Waited 25 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. The manager had the counter person sweeping while about 9 of us stood in line.Service was horrible! It took 45 minutes to get both breakfast items and coffee. Ridiculous!!!

Firstly, the two stars are meant to be five for the staff, they were polite, helpful and do the best they can with a sub standard coffee bean and a machine that doesn't make a dense froth needed for a good cappuccino. I habitually prefer coffee roasters and was reminded why after deciding to give Starbucks it a try. To begin with I asked for a "real" cup, which apparently is an impossibility. They actually don't have cups to serve their coffee in, the customer is forced to drink from a paper cup. Is washing a porcelain cup now rocket science? Starbucks management please note: Disposable coffee cups are made up of a mix of synthetic chemicals and materials, including often toxic processing aids and heat stabilisers. In addition: 6.5 million trees are cut down, 4 billion gallons of water goes to waste, and enough energy to power 54,000 homes for a year also goes to waste. Starbucks management please do you part for your customer's health and the environment! I urge people to stop going to Starbucks or any other café that doesn't give the customer a choice. This is about Starbucks total lack of care for well known stats pertaining to people's health and the environment.

This Starbucks is very cool and convenient as there are not that many coffee options in Del Mar. I like that is located next to a brewery or cocktail bar and they kind of share the patio so looks a bit upscale. The inside is not that spacious but well organized with various tables. It feels cozy and service is always happy and efficient. Besides, almost across from the beach, enough said.

Always great to grab a coffee and then go down and walk around and look at the viewpoint.

Just had a very rude and immature interaction with a woman named Susan. Not sure if she is the manager, or a shift lead but I have never felt more disrespected at a Starbucks before. I came in to order breakfast and was faced with a bad attitude, and what felt like a hostile environment. Should be hiring better staff to create a more welcoming environment

Well... We stopped by to get coffee while visiting Del Mar. The shop was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. My wife ordered a venti white chocolate mocha. We left and while driving she asked me to taste her drink as it was "off". We stopped at the local Shell to inspect her drink. It turns out we paid for steamed milk. Not sure how you forget to put coffee in a coffee. Lol. So.. when visiting this establishment, make sure you make sure you get coffee in your coffee.
