“I truly did not know that it was possible to have shaved ice this amazing. You literally feel like you are on a tropical island eating it. The ice is extremely soft and doesn't hurt your teeth when you eat it like most do. We make the trip to Delano from Bakersfield just for this shaved ice sometimes because it is that good. They are very quick as well which is nice. There are a couple picnic tables for seating as well. 10/10 would recommend!“

If you are visiting Delano and feel like eating a greasy hamburger with fries and a soda, then this will be the place. Enough parking on premises or street. There is a drive through. It’s located in Cecil Plaza, therefore parking can be limited.They have a variety of sweet and savory snacks to choose from. They also have a wide selection of drinks and desserts. I ordered their Halo-Halo because I had been craving one for a while. I thought I’d give it a try, and I am glad I made that decision. The Halo-Halo was creamy and had a perfect balanced sweetness. It came with chunks of coconut jelly, jackfruit, wafers and a scoop of ice cream of your choice. I went with the classic ube ice cream. The ube ice cream was a creamy deliciousness. As it melted, it incorporated so well with the rest of the dessert, which made it creamier and harder to stop eating ? needles to say, I devoured the whole thing. I recommend trying their Halo-Halo, and their ice cream shakes (they look creamy, almost velvety ?)!I truly enjoyed my Halo-Halo, and I will be back to try their other snacks, desserts and drinks.
