Great halal market in the heart of Diamond Bar, CA. A great find and right next to the Indian grocery store. You can buy from both and mix and match. The market almost looks ancient. There is no pork here, only beef, lamb and chicken.

I've been coming to this place for the meat for nearly a year; the beef is so fresh and I'm told they are brought one cow per day. The rotisserie chicken gets sold out, call ahead to reserve a whole chicken. My family who is used to supermarket meat notice the improved difference in meat quality from Aljibani too.

Their grilled chicken is the best. We are from New Jersey and visited the store 3 weeks ago. Fortunately I bought the chicken. It was the best grilled chicken I have tested. Also the owner was extremely nice to us.

This review is for their roasted chicken ! It's $7.99 for a roasted chicken and it can't be beat. It's delicious Not salty or dry. The cashier is friendly. I love to order their roasted chicken for lunch and dinner and my family loves it ! They also sell Pita bread to go along with the chicken. I used to go to smart n final for the roasted chicken, but I found they were making it it too salty. If your looking for a roast chicken be sure to call into reserve yours. Closed on Mondays

Please don't come here and eat. The food is really awful. Soggy rice with watered down chicken. Inside is really dirty. I'm just thankful I didn't get sick. Who knows how long that baklava been sitting there.

Over all it's great . The market offers a lot of different varieties of groceries from many regions. Specially, in the Middle East. Their service is decent the register guy is very respectful. The butchers are knowledgeable . The store it self need a face lift but over all it's nice and clean .

I got baklava expecting it to be really good due to the high rated reviews but it was nothing like expected. Not sure if it was due to improper storage in the market because I tried it as soon as I got home and it tasted almost acidic. Not like the sweet baklava I'm used to. I was very disappointed. Hopefully the rest of the boxes aren't like that. I did check the expiration date for those wondering and it does in fact say April 10 2023 so it should have been good.

The man behind the food counter was extremely rude. He asked me what I wanted to order and then proceeded to tell me he could not hear me. When I repeated my order back to him he snapped back that he understood. Later when I tried to reconfirm my order, he told me "I already know that!" in a very rude and aggressive manner. When I got home, I opened my order, and he messed up my sides. I ordered cucumber salad and turnips and he gave me two cucumber salads. The food itself was unpalatable. Maybe I've been spoiled by very good Mediterranean food but the chicken shawarma had the consistency of birria and was truly disgusting. The rice was soggy and unappetizing. The rotisserie chicken was nothing to write home about. Tiny and the one at Sprouts tastes ten times better at the same price. I will not be back.
