However, the food and service are inconsistent.For example, first visit, pizza was decent.Second visit, undercooked with little sauce.Third visit, mentioned the lack of sauce, pizza came out well-done and sopping with whole sauce. To the point it was sopping with cold sauce.Third visit — played it safe — just asked for a side of heated sauce.Got a nearly sauceless pizza served with cold sauce on the side, for an up charge.Every other time since then, it has been hit or miss — dry with no sauce or decent.But for the price — $40 for a large half topping and pitcher of coke — there are def better options.We’ve tried several pizza places in the area, and, while this is still our go-to, there’s a lot that’s lacking.Chain pizzas, aka dominos, has been better.If weighing in costs, I would def go dominos.UPDATE: The owner, Sam, immediately reached out to me the following day, requesting a phone call at my convenience.Sam took full ownership of the issues.He explained that hospitality was most important to him — “I want to treat people the exact way I would like to be treated.” This spoke volumes to me about both him and the business.I am more than happy to give Mr G’s another chance, as it has thus far been my favorite go-to for pizza and will post another review in the near future.I wish all owners of businesses shared Sam’s perspective on customer service.

The Korean bulgogi pizza was spot-on. The sweetness of the beef was perfect with the onions and green peppers. Delicious!! Also the salad was fresh, not out of a bag.
I can't say enough good things about Mr G's pizza. The owners know how to make your experience an unforgettable one. I live in San Pedro and my mom lives in Diamond Bar. I gladly travel miles to taste their pizza and treat my mom to Mr G's whenever I can!! It is literally some of the best pizza I have tasted and wish they were located in the San Pedro area. The pizza dough is delicious and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. Their pizza sauce brings all the ingredients together in a way that makes their pizza's insatiable. I've literally had to make myself stop eating despite being full on many occasions, cause their pizza's are just that darn GOOD!!!
