Waitress won't pay attention to customers. Been twice with a friend morning and lunch time.Wheelchair accessibility: Hard to get in front door. But is durable .

This is the place to be when you're hungry. Good food, Large portions too. Good staff. Even the staff in the kitchen will help seat you when the host is not available. That was good PR service skills. My wait was about 2 minutes before I was escorted to a nice table.Recommend the chicken salad and/or the chicken sandwich with fries. Eat half & take the rest home in a box.I'd recommend breakfast/lunch. Dinner is nice, but I wait for those nights when Prime Rib is served. The building Diamond Springs Hotel is a historical building, which I enjoy 1800's/historical buildings.Especially if they're known to be haunted. Not saying that this building is, but I enjoy historical buildings.I was told upstairs is generally used for storage. I have yet to tour the entire building, of course, when they're not too busy.Restrooms are clean.Parking is good. This place is worth a revisit.

Delightful atmosphere with stellar service. The hot chocolate also came with the most scrumptious mound of whipped cream!

I ate breakfast on a late Sunday morning. It's an old school cafe/ restaurant setting and the food is delicious. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with crispy hash-browns. The plate was filled and the best part was they did not drown the food in gravy. The gravy was a good flavor add to the plate. I'll return for another breakfast for sure!

The food is always amazing! I always get their amazing French Toast but you can't go wrong with any other menu item. I'm also a big fan of their cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak and pancakes. I have never had a bad experience with service and the ambiance has a comforting homey feel to it!

Worst experience ever. I called to ask about reservations ahead of time for Thanksgiving. I was told the reservations were full but they would be taking walk in's all day. She told me the wait goes fast and as soon as we get seated the food comes right out. We got seated fast as expected...the food DID NOT. Everyone around us were served and done so I got up to ask where are food was. I spoke or to the owner who apologized and told me 20 more minutes. Again, we waited 55 minutes and again I had to get up and talk to the owner. She told me 15 more minutes this time. Again we waited. Empty water glasses, empty coffee cups...waiting. Half the table wanted to just leave. Our food was finally served for a total of a two hour wait!!!!! We got our bill and no courtesy sorry we ran out of turkey. FULL PRICE. I spoke to the owner and told her I can understand not being able to gauge when a Turkey finishes cooking but it's unacceptable to not communicate or even check how we're doing and check if we wanted more water or coffee. Or at the minimum come to us and give us an update. She (the owner) said "fine, take ten percent off" I have to say I was extremely disappointed. I've worked in the restaurant industry and I guarantee that would have NEVER happened in the establishments I worked at. I told them I would never come back. Then the cashier had the audacity to say rudely "have you ever even been here before"? I told her I most certainly have and her remark was "well I've never seen you before" UNBELIEVABLE ... in addition the food was Luke warm at best. Potatoes and yams were COLD.

5 star holiday dinner for Thanksgiving. Traditional Turkey, Ham, Turkey, and Turkey & Ham combo. I had the stellar 12oz regular cut Prime rib that just melts in your mourh, including some high-grade horseradish and au juice. The optional green salad was fresh and crispy, the bread was fresh and replenished for all when asked. The service was perfect and our glasses were always full. I'll be back for more prime rib and I want to try their breakfast.
