Utterly disgusting! We got take out here because of all the promising reviews but their all lies! The sushi is worse than Safeway sushi and 3 times the price, tastes like it was frozen for days and then deep fried! The chicken and shrimp also don't taste fresh. We don't recommend this place at all. The rice is so sticky and gross!

Placed a to go order on a Sunday 6:29pm she tells me 40mins because me are busy I said ok I'll come back I even came back at 7:21pm and she tells me 15-20more mins basically they just didn't work on my order sighhh !

The food was great. A minor complaint is too much dressing on the salad, but I guess it’s better than not enough dressing.I would also serve the 2 orders together, instead of one right away and the other 15 minutes later. Again, minor issues compared with the quality of the food.
Great sushi we're regulars there everyone is very professional and extremely friendly.

Sushi rice was mushy (cooked with too much water), the rolls all tasted and looked the same. Nothing spectacular by any means. The family size salad we ordered was missing. On the positive side, we ordered a chicken bento box for a kiddo and it was good. Huge portions, so we mostly ate that instead of the $200 worth of sushi ordered for our group. It was overall a bummer and we won't be back.

I came in to try this place because I stop by the shopping area every once in a while, when I'm on the road for work. The restaurant is small and subtle, which I prefer in my sushi restaurants, shows that they've chosen quality over quantity. It's a nice little spot tucked away. This is my first review because my experience was very memorable. The waitress was very rude and dismissive. Definitely did not get the warm welcome another gentleman received picking up an order. I get it, sometimes it's slow and you don't want to wait on people but at least meet half of the energy of my greetings to the staff and not seem like I'm interrupting your cell phone time across from me. However, besides this service I received, which may be an off day that I happened to walk into, the food was decent. The California roll was surprisingly good. They don't shredded their imitation crab. You get chunks of it, and the avocado was perfectly ripe, which has so much more flavor. It doesn't have too much mayo, if any, so that may affect the taste for some people, but I enjoyed it. The sashimi was very good, Salmon melted in your mouth, and the tuna was pretty tender and fresh. Overall, the sashimi stood out, and I would definitely try more of their offerings. The chicken katsu was alright, nothing to rave about, but I personally would not try it again. I initially rated this a 2* but the food was the saving grace in this review, and that's what we really want to know at the end of the day. Is the quality of the food good enough to try. I would definitely want to come back, but it may be a while due to the service I received, but like I said, it could have been an off day for everyone.

Walk in today w/ a family of 5 because we are new to the area and wanted to support the local but obviously when we walk in and told her a party of 5 she didn't want to accommodate us when there was plenty of tables. We were obviously judge and look down by this waitress today. But you know what thanks for looking down at my family of 5 because my children knows how to act right and walk away. Goodbye never ever pay a penny or put our valuable feet thru this door call matsuyama thank you to NEKO SHUSHI! Sorry matsuyama just lost a valuable customers. Lol! Treat everyone equal next time. Don't ever judge!
