Allow me to start by saying, the food is great tasting. However, customer service goes a long way. I placed and order with a "guy" who claims his name is Alex. The order asked for 4 westerners (2 meat sandwiches), 1 side order of ribs, 2 side orders of sausage, 1 side order of fries and 2 large mineral waters. When I got back to my car my order did not include the fries, the sides of sausages and the water was tap water. In addition, the San witches were sausage sandwiches instead of the 2-2 meat westeners. I'm not a happy customer and for that reason I have decided not to visit them again. It's now been more than six months and today when I thought about giving them another try I remembered my bad experience and decided to post this instead. Hopefully they have changed. It would be interesting to see motivating reviews so I may enjoy their food again.

Disappointed in the quantity of food for the price. It looked like an appetizer.Update: we made a complain and got lots of coupons. Also, signing up on the app there are coupons too. I think they should sell their product as is without all these additional coupons.

So I dropped off my mom's car for some service and was thinking about lunch so I Uber my arse over to dickies only to find out if they're closed.there was no mention in the yelp link but they are closed at this time I am truly disappointed. The Dickeys Team reached out right away and showed an interest in my comments. Thanks Dickey's

Redeemed a free tmobile pulled pork sandwich and it was dry. Also paid for a sliced brisket plate and it was also super dry. Food was lukewarm when we got it and it was not enjoyable to eat at all. I redeem another free bbq sandwich at famous dave few weeks before that is in the same plaza and it was so much better. I won't be coming back here again.

Food was terrible. Sides tasted like reheated left overs from 2 days ago. Ribs were decent, chopped brisket was just ok. Overall very disappointing, won't be back.

I love Dickeys but now I'll be boycotting this location. I placed my order on the app and was eagerly awaiting my chopped brisket and baked potato casserole. I was tracking my food online and the tracker said my food was getting packed up. I head to the restaurant and I find that it was CLOSED. TVs were on so I waited, called, and nothing. Super disappointed Dickeys in Downey! Turn off your online ordering if you're closing early. So much for the tracker saying my food was about ready. Moral of the story: Call before you decide to order online from Dickeys Downey.

Just placed an order there for the Kings Hawaiian Spicy Chicken & Cheddar Sandwich. When I picked up my order and got home to eat it. It had a couple of pieces of chicken and cheese. No jalpenos or spicy sauce. Worst part, the entire place was EMPTY and they still messed it up. Will be getting BBQ elsewhere.

The guys at the counter were great! Handled all the guests with ease and professional. I wish all Dickey's had employees as good as these ones downeys Dickey's is the best.

630 on sunday nite. Chairs on tables and employees screaming and yelling inside. Loud screams too. Assuming this location will close soon like the lakewood one did. Too bad. The vegas locations were always great. Went next door to running chicks and grabbed wings instead.

The food was good, but was quite disappointed to see that this location doesn't have the free ice cream that is a staple of Dickeys. Please don't try and say it is because of COVID, as there are locations in Torrance and one in Redondo Beach that still have the free ice cream as of a few weeks ago. It has been such a staple that I have been to locations where the ice cream machine was broken, but they were next to an ice cream shop and they arranged to give their customers coupons for free scoops from the ice cream shop until the machine was repaired. I understand these are all franchises, but there are certain minimums you expect from a Dickeys and one of those is the free ice cream. This review would have been closer to 4.5 to 5 stars if they had that going here.

Sadly, I placed an online order yesterday and when I went up pick up the store was closed. I've seen a paper sign in the window that says closing early due to lack of staff for a week or two. I didn't think this was everyday for such a long period.

First time trying this place. We visited the location in Downey. It was very clean and staff was pleasant. He waited patiently as we decided what to order. I got the polish sausage combo and hubby got the 1/2 chicken and brisket combo. Order was served relatively quick and we sat down to enjoy our meal. I liked my jalapeño sausage which had a nice peppery spicy kick. Hubby didn't enjoy his meal as much. Brisket was in tiny pieces and not a slice as he was expecting. On the other hand , the bbq sauce was tangy and good. I dipped my meat in the bbq sauce after every bite because I'm a sauce person. Glad we finally tried Dickeys.

The food at the one on Apollo Way in Downey, CA tastes great but if you don't want to listen to super sexual aweful music that uses the n word a lot don't go here. I love almost all music but I don't want to be listening to sexual music while eating dinner with my family.
