Great authentic Peruvian food. I was a little surprised that the gratuity fee was automatically added for a party of 1. Cmon Fernando.

I ordered to pick up, I ordered Lomo Salteado seafood and some seafood fried rice. When I opened the plates the food was cold, it looked like pre-heated old food, the potatoes "chewy" and some hard, meat tasted like "raw." The food quality is not worth it the price. It's disgusting! I had Peruvian food somewhere else before and it was way different!.This was horribl, I will never go back again, it's a shame they sell this food, it belongs in the trash, where I put it. Waste of money!Parking: It's a small shopping center with limited parking space. No street parking available.

My mouth is watering, just thinking about the food here. I especially like the Lomo Saltado. You will not regret visiting them.

My best friend and I are on the hunt for a local Peruvian food place and decided to give Fernando's a try. We had the ceviche mixto, Chupe de camarones, and Chaufa mixta. The portion sizes were fair. The ceviche was smaller than expected. The Chupe de camarones was a healthy serving that could possibly be shared with two or more people. The Chaufa mixta is good for two. At first we were served by a male waiter who seemed to be disconnected. He wasn't mean but also seemed in a hurry, granted, the place was almost completely rainy since it was a Monday afternoon. Later we were served by a woman and she was happy to help us out. The taste wasn't horrible but wasn't memorable either. I did feel that the Chaufa Mixta was a 10/10 in flavor. It was the only dish that truly stood out to me. The Chupe de camarones was also delicious but was missing a bit more shrimp. Overall, Fernando's is a nice place to try!

Fernando's is a homey Peruvian spot hidden in the corner of a strip mall. My friend and I needed to meet halfway from OC and SGV and this seemed to work for what we needed. I arrived first - was welcomed and seated right away. They start you off with an herby and fresh aji verde sauce and small slices of French bread - save it to eat with your meal! I had the parihuela seafood soup so it was a perfect match with the soup. The soup had plentiful pieces of varied seafood, shrimp and fish, but the broth was a bit bland. My friend got some kind of fried fish - if you like fish n chips, you will love these crispy little nuggets! Overall restaurant is comfortable and staff is cordial. The portions are pretty generous too. If you are in the area, at least try it out!

Good quality & tasty Peruvian food. I enjoy their use of Linguine style pasta on many of their dishes.

I grew up nearby and I have never been and now I regret not finding this place sooner!! I found this spot on Yelp. THANK YOU YELP!! It's soooooo good. We were looking for a restaurant that was sort of in the middle of us and friends in Whittier. And I am incredibly glad we find it. Their food is really good. The restaurant had tons of seating and I love the decor, and the staff is so nice! I ordered the lomo saltado, my husband ordered the aji de gallina and our friend ordered the chaufa marisco. We were all so happy with our meals!! And A+ for a kids menu! I cannot wait to go back the next time I am in town.
