First time trying tortas ahogadas at this place and it was tasty. I got the carnitas torta ahogada(a sandwich with thick bread that has been smothered in a tomato base salsa). The carnitas meat is very tender. The pickled onions were fragrant. I got tacos de canasta, potato, chicharon and frijole, they were not my favorite, kind of dry. My favorite thing though was what my friend ordered!! She got a taco Dorado. It's filed with beans and smothered with carnitas and toppings and drenched in that salsa. I would just three of those next time. But one is alot.
