I did not appreciate being told over the phone the alfajores are one price and being charged a higher price at the counter. I had driven 15 minutes so I decided to purchase anyway. They also charge $1 for card transactions. The alfajores used to be good they likely changed the recipe and are not worth the drive. I will be purchasing somewhere else. The customer service has always been pretty horrible. The inside of the bakery has always been depressing. :)

Ordered a custom made cake and it is exactly what i wanted. Beautiful presentation but when it was time to cut the cake and eat it, i was very disappointed! Very dry and did not like the flavor. I was upset..

What a wonderful bakery! I needed a last minute birthday cake and the staff here was so incredibly helpful and made us the exact cake we needed in time for the party, plus matching macarons. We will definitely be back everyone loved the desserts.

Love this place! The ambiance is nice because of all the cakes they have on display and the sweet smell of cake . Everyone was so kind and welcoming when I came in. They asked me to wait a few minutes to get my cake finished, and they got it done very quickly. The cake turned out amazing! It looked good and tasted great! I ordered the 6" fruit naked cake with lemon mousse filling. The cake was very good!

I was looking for a freshly made cake for my granddaughters 3rd birthday. It was very last minute, but I found Marrisa’s Cakes in Downey. I walked in and noticed the nice cake models on display. I also was able to see a customer’s cake that had just been finished and it looked really nice! Most of all I had been treated with quick and wonderful service! I am hoping that the cake is as good as my experience!
