We ordered grubhub a hour ahead from our lunch. We work in the healthcare field so it’s hard to go out and buy food due to the amount of patients we see. The driver arrived to the restaurant. The driver said that the restaurant never received the order and that they don’t do grubhub. If they don’t do grubhub why are they taking orders? The driver proceeded to call me and it was a call with us three (employee included) the employee cussed us out which was shocking. If an employee isn’t happy with their job they shouldn’t be working there. I reported this restaurant to grubhub and the driver reported the restaurant to the health department due to how dirty it is. Luckily we got the money back but I won’t be returning

If I could give 0 stars I would! Horrible place lady is soo rude!!! Left me a very VERY rude message saying I had to just bring in money, and next time she isn't going to give me my order because she isn't going to be paying for people's order when I did pay for my order! If I could post the voice recording i would!! (she insisted my Zelle didn't go threw I even sent her screen shots that it did)

Ordené pupusas de chicharrón con queso y les puse una nota que no me gustaba el frijol en la pupusa, y les importó un comino y me las hicieron de frijol con queso y estaban horribles. Hablé al restaurante y las personas que contestaron son unas groceras y mal educadas se pusieron al tú por tu pésimo servicio. Jamás volveré a comer de ese lugar. I order pupusas with chicharrón and cheese and instead they send me beans pupusas they were awful and when I called to let them know the people were so rude and did not care they made a mistake awful food taste and the worst customer service. I will never order from them.

Im very disappointed, today the waitress was a young lady who was very rude seemed like she was mad; I ask her what was the name of a sweet bread that looked like a cookie and she responded back with an attitude and said “ I don’t know “ and she left: it’s my third time coming in to Pupuseria El Carrisal I really enjoyed last past two times I was there, because a sweet little girl who has great customer service skills for only being maybe around 10 years old waited me the first time I was very happy with her service, second time was these past Saturday a young men who also had a good attitude and great customer service skills. I usually go to Myra’s Salvadorian Cuisin in Downey CA , but a friend of mine invited me to a Carrisal gave the place a thumbs up, and she was right , pupusas are yummy, meet enpanadas, bread quesadilla except atole wasn’t as good ; but today pupusas didn’t have enough stuffing, I think the young lady waitress didn’t like me, don’t know why, it’s to bad to have people like her serving in a restaurant because food is not for free.

Just walked in tried to order I’m giving my order lady writes down then while I’m still giving my order walks away leaves me talking walked to the back didn’t come back minute later a guy comes with an with an attitude says what are you going to want… I told him I was giving the lady my order where is she and he’s like so what do you want we just walked away. Won’t be coming back for sure. Ever … never ….

This is our favorite hidden gem Pupusa place. I'm salvadorian and I'm pretty picky with my Pupusas. These are really good. We used to drive to Cudahy for a good salvadorian restaurant but we go here now. The family owned business is just that their whole family works there and you'll see this momma entrepreneur working as their kids help her. Really sweet to see.
