Love this bar. It's cash only so be prepared . Been timing here for years since it was called the POW wow. All the bartenders are friendly and great. Drinks are good. However if you are bit a karaoke fan beware.

I love this place!! I can't believed I lived 1/2 a mile away for 20 years and just started coming!! The atmosphere is so great! You can be 21 or 91 and it's all love. They have karaoke every night and very low prices...Hands down the bar in Downey and we a lot!

Karaoke here but don’t expect much from the bartenders… seems like they don’t want to be there… I’m sure my friends and I weren’t the only ones that had to ask for their change back and on one occasion the older white bartender lady insisted we she gave us our change and asked if we wanted her to check the cameras to prove and we said, “sure” then she goes to say just call tomorrow….. the Latina bartender was definitely cool!

The experience was totally awesome except for the idiot security guard named Manuel.
OMG!! Nancy rocked it!! Literally.. you know, it's nice to get off of work and come to a hidden gem like this one.. This saloon is a must! The service is top notch. A bar that cannot go under.. I must say, I've seen many bars and restaurants go under and a lot of investment goes into it.. but u know what, some of these places that ppl think are underrated are actually quite the perfect spot. Happy hour is the on point and local beers on draft are more than perfect. Thanks again Nancy for delivering top tier service to a this very scrupulous, high maintenance everyday blue collar worker. You rocked it girl and I'm so proud of you. It's places like this is is why i choose to frequent these type of establishments. Thank you kindly.

Pretty good dive bar, bartenders are good and friendly. Decent clientele and fun atmosphere. Prices for drinks are reasonable & beers were cold. One of the patrons there seemed cool, but after a few drinks was acting odd and said some things that were offensive, but I just blew it off. Needless, to say I excused myself to use the restroom then quietly exited. Wasn't getting good vibes. So, I bounced. Know where you're at and be safe out there.

What can I say! The bar is okay but the bartender girl is a straight betchhh. Yeah the one with the glasses and tattoos. Girl thinks she bad. That’s why she didn’t get no tip. Bad services…overall the bar was coo. It’s a lil hole in a wall so didn’t expect much.
