I was stuck on the 5 fwy going out of town for Easter day and was craving tacos. Google took me to Tacos El Grullo. It's a small restaurant and the tacos didn't disappoint! We ordered the Chile relleno asada tacos, asada nopal tacos and the biria tacos. All of the tacos had some much flavor and they gave us cooked onions/jalapenos with salsas to go. Price was reasonable. If I'm driving out of town I will stop by again.

Stumbled upon this place after visiting the business next door. I ordered 2 Quesatacos which were very very delicious!! Service was great, food was served with salsas / grilled onion / limón etc. I came back again today , and this time ordered 1 vampiro de Asada and 2 Asada Quesatacos and a Agua de Cebada!! I can definitely say this place has the best tacos in the area for a very affordable price. I highly recommend this place 100%!

Food was absolutely delicious! I was just passing through the area and stopped to check out el Grullo and they have a killer deal for taco Tuesday. Would definitely recommend the asada tacos because those smack !! Will definitely return in the future! Cheers

The asada was cooked well but didn't have much flavor to it and the burrito contained a few nasty pieces of gristle that I had to spit out. The onions were slightly sweet, which I don't care for in burritos. Another issue I had with the onions was that they were not distributed well. Some bites were 40% onions. It wasn't very appealing. They skimped on the sour cream. Wanted habanero sauce in the burrito but they served it on the side. To be fair, I didn't specify to have the sauce added inside, I just assumed it would be. The sour cream was, why wouldn't the salsa be too? They goofed in almost every way for my personal taste. I guess I should be thankful they didn't burn the tortilla. Expenses. Worth it? 0/1Burrito was ~$13. Would have been fair if the quality was good. $20 total via DoorDash. Wasn't worth it to me. Location & Ease of Access 1/1Ordered online and received my order promptly. Can't comment much else on this location since I did delivery. No issues with the ordering process. Plan to return? 0/1I don't think so. Best tacos I've had so far in the surrounding areas !(^o^)!! They have taco Tuesday so I had to try. Had two tacos of carne asada, carnitas and pastor and all were so good! Found my new favorite taco spot to go to from now on.

I tried this place because it continued to pop-out on DoorDash app and I was interested in trying out tongue tacos with cabbage and onions and requested no cilantro. The meat had decent flavor but it wasn't tasty, they sprinkled (very light) the condiments and tacos still had very little cilantro, it didn't make a difference. Food was just average.
