After going to this restaurant for decades, I just had the worst meal ever there. I ordered chicken fajitas and they were way overcooked and burned. They tasted like burned-up charcoal and had a terrible aftertaste. They never should have served that to anyone, especially a long-time customer. I have always had nice things to say about this restaurant so this is very sad they would do this. I am highly disappointed after going here for around 30 years, This was our family and friends' meeting place. Just unbelievable!

Been coming sense i was 15 years..im 20 and more years to come. Food and service is always good, the ambiance of this resturaunt is outstanding. I always get the number 17, Taco and a tamale with rice Nd beans. Can never go wrong, even tho prices have gone up..food has remained the same.

Oh no! Not a 2 rating! The food is excellent, best fajitas from anywhere, great shredded crunchy beef tacos. Been eating here +25 years. Get a coupon from the Downey Patriot newspaper, some meals are 2 for 1.

Just what I've been looking for, an authentic restaurant that offers a single cheese enchilada plate (with onions).... Thank you. Needless to say it tastes exactly how I wanted. Delicious and satisfying. Great service (quick), good food, and reasonably priced.
Visited on Saturday for the first time. Liked the place very much, it has a homey feeling. Food is delicious, loved their albondiga soup. Service is excellent, will certainly go back.

Food was delicious, its a quaint, old school, experience. Yes, the place is a little dated, but food and portions are great, and consistent ove the years. Just moved back to the area and will come back often. I had the chili verde plate, tender and full of flavor.

Still love coming to this restauraunt. I was there a couple of weeks ago and decided to take new photos of the menu to update the ones that were on here from a few years back. Frequently I'm ordering their Fajitas which is way more than enough for one person, but this last time I stumbled across their Fajita Salad. The salad was just as good as the regular fajitas just without the rice and beans I almost never finish. The wait staff is pretty attentive and stop by often enough to make sure you have enough chips, salsa, and drinks. Sure the inside is a bit dated and looks like an old school Mexican restaurant, but who cares what the place looks like as long as their food is delicious, sometimes I like places for the ambiance and sometimes for the food. This is the place one goes to eat tasty food with friends and family and not really hang out.
