Small restaurant with what I noticed, a lot of to-go orders. If you come with a group larger than 6, expect to be split up or get cozy with your group by squeezing in additional chairs. Service was ok, seems a little understaffed. I wouldn't say this is a warm and fuzzy place. Speaking of warm, inside is the opposite, a little chilly. Scan the QR code and place your order. You can order from each individual phone, but they will bring one total bill at the end of your meals, and only two card splits max. Noodle soups are served in bowls and everything else is in to-go trays. My friend asked for a bowl to toss her food together in and they brought a tiny bowl, lol! Ask for a larger one and they'll say they ran out, even if there's only about 15 people in the entire restaurant. Overall, the dining experience was a little awkward. I had the seafood laksa noodle soup and that's what made up for the service and the reason why I am giving this place 4 stars. Very creamy and delicious soup with plenty of fresh seafood. Also comes with a ramen egg with strong soy and umami flavor, which I appreciated very much. Large portion of food and very fulfilling. My milk tea lacked jasmine tea flavor and tasted mostly like milk. I ordered 50% sweet, but prob could have gone up to 75% or even 100%. Boba was sweet and chewy, pudding had good egg flavor but no texture. If I come back, it'll probably be laksa noodle soup to-go.

Amazing Basil has been my go to for take out pho since the pandemic started and is one of the better pho options out here in the Livermore/Pleasanton area. I find the broth more flavorful than its competitors and that is what makes a solid bowl of pho for me. Everything is packaged nicely for take out and there's a good bit of meat so it's not a bowl that is 90% noodles like I've had elsewhere. I normally stick to pho and a drink but this time I wanted to try something else from the menu so I ordered the salt and pepper tofu. It was ok, definitely better dipped in the provided sauce. I thought it would be crispy but it wasn't but perhaps it went soft after being packaged for delivery. I'll definitely keep coming back for more pho in the future though!

Interesting menu... fusion type but the presentation of the food is amazing! Just like those shown in pictures! Taste is so so and we find it pricey. Daughter tried the Boba tea and said it's good.

Really recommend to order fried trio (popcorn chicken, fried king squid and tofu), served with lemon sriracha mayo and sour sweet dipping.

Amazing Basil is located in the Fallon Gateway plaza. It has a big parking lot, but it gets busy here on weeknights and weekends. Not much service, you may order yourself with the self ordering through the QR code. My friends and I came here for lunch. My friends ordered vegetable noodle soup and a banh mi, while I ordered a banh mi and a sea salt cheese jasmine jade with boba, and we ordered an order of popcorn chicken to share as well. My friends thought their food was okay - the pho was lacking in flavor, but the banh mi was okay. I thought my banh mi was decent, the bread could had been more soft/toasted. My boba drink was not that great, it tasted like a cup of condensed milk with cheese after I mixed it - the tea taste was lacking, while the boba very soft and melty. We enjoyed the popcorn chicken the best out of everything.

It's been 3 years since I've been here service was good food was great bun Bo hue was fire and the pho was ok but the broth wasn't it, and you know if the broth ain't it then it's not pho it was still good but the pho broth wasn't there, another thing is not your traditional pho where you have your sauces at your convenience to spice things up. Didn't bother to ask just wanted to eat but I'm sure they have it upon request. Anyhow depending on the time of day parking can be a challenge the restaurant is a bit cramp but doable.

Tender chicken, good value for price. Recommend popcorn chicken with basil and chicken wings. Pho is a little bit salty, and their curry is quite good.

Ordered the seafood laksa. Delicious, but fail to finish it as it becomes too rich in the end. Should try the Pho instead.

We decided to explore a new restaurant and try this spot out based on their 4-star reviews. Small hole in the wall; modern, clean restaurant. We were the only 2 there. Once seated we were told to scan a QR code for their menu and order online. I'm online all day;I'd prefer to sit down, relax, and order the old-fashioned way. That's just me though. We ordered crispy lemongrass chicken and the chili ribeye. As we waited for our food, more people showed up and their orders came before ours. I thought that was odd. I don't know if it's because others ordered soup and ours needed more time. The food did not disappoint when it finally arrived. It was tasty and well prepared. I didn't think it would be enough considering the portions looked small, but it was just enough for one person. If you are passionate about keeping our earth green, beware that this place uses ALOT of plastic. For dine-in, our food was served in a plastic tray container. Lastly, we couldn't understand the server who checked up on us every 5 min. Spoke way too fast and was abrupt. Decent spot but service could be better.

Came here on a Wednesday for lunch with the boo. Was seated immediately. They have physical menus, however you scan a QR to place your order. To start we had the salt and pepper tofu. We then ordered the Amazing Laksa Noodle with shrimp and the Tomato Crab Meat Noodle. Holy moly they were so good!! #Salt and Pepper tofu - fried to perfection with the perfect hit of salt and pepper. They include a fish sauce dipping sauce for extra tang, which complimented the saltiness well. #Amazing Laksa Noodle with shrimp - they give you a decent amount of big juicy shrimp. The coconut flavor is on point and the noodles are slurpable heaven. #Tomato Crab Meat Noodle - this totally hit the spot. I love their crab meat balls, and they also include a good amount of shrimp. The flavors were not overpowering but had deep crab/seafood flavor. All in all a great establishment with good food for the price. Will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes!

I have been a regular customer here since 2019, and their food is still consistent to this day. I love their lemongrass chicken and garlic noodle. Their pho is also good with a unique broth that no other pho place tastes like. I would just wish there was more meat in the combo (especially meatballs). The proportion is a little unbalanced. Their chicken wings are also good, but it has become overpriced now over the years. There have also been instances where the restaurant would mess up our order or forget something, but they are willing to help fix and give us the correct item(s). However, it's another extra car ride for us. I also tried out their Amazing Combo Tray last year for Easter, and there was a little of everything. I am wanting to have it ag The drinks are lovely. Tea quality is great, and they have many options. My go-to is their guava drink. I wish they would bring back their create your own drink one day! *Dine-in pictures are from 2019, and party platter from Easter 2021.

This place is so good! Everything was super flavorful and delicious! I got the laksa noodles (just the shrimp), roti and chicken wings for the table to share. My friends all ordered a variety of different things and they all thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I didn't order boba but they also said the boba was very good. The roti was soo fresh and soooo good. 10/10 would order again. I felt the same way with the chicken wings and laksa noodles too. I just can't stop raving about the flavors of this place! Definitely would come back here 100% when I am back in town. There's also plenty of parking outside but the restaurant is kind of small with limited seating.

Amazing food. We had the Bun Bo, Duck soup, and the bobas. All are amazingly delicious. Highly recommended

Loved this place! Super cute, clean, and very small restaurant so I wouldn't recommend coming here with a big party. Got the Beef Pho, they definitely were not stingy with the meat. 4 stars because the actual pho broth and thai tea were okay, nothing spectacular. Staff is so friendly and there is self ordering so you don't really need to interact with them if you don't want to. Will also add that they serve their appetizers in plastic to go containers

If you are looking to be pampered by wait staff or get ongoing service like water refills, this is not your place. I am not saying the servers were not helpful, they are but the place is geared toward self service and self service basically sucks when going out to eat. The app is not customizable enuf and I didn't have my glasses and am sick of electronics. Give me a fricken' menu, answer one or two of my d*** a** questions, and let me mow. Onto the feed. The mixed grill combo (called premium BBQ) is really solid and the sauce is a fish sauce/lime juice/pepper flakes combo. Nobody should think any of the aforementioned ingredients are really what the sauce is made of. This is what I think it is made of, nothing more. I just know it tasted good. Garlic noodles and spring rolls - easy A. Seafood noodle soup powered through with an A as well. Roti = C. Too hard. They were little pieces of cardboard. What was the bust? The Pig Knuckle (should note the honey pork shoulder on the BBQ combo was this way too in terms of fattiness but did not taste old) tasted old. One bite and it was sidelined. It is possible a pig knuckle expert would think this dish was ok but not me. It may not have been old but it was very gamey. Again, bring in the experts for a final ruling on this one. Based on the above combo of factors, a four star rating has been provided. If I was to return, I would dive into the A's above and migrate into the Laksa noodle dish to truly experience this establishments Bon Faire.
