Went on Easter. Very nice menu, food was very good, appetizers awesome. Oysters and grilled cornbread. Salmon, hash, French toast and stroganoff were all yummy. Tried several desserts, cheesecake and lemon blueberry Bundt were outstanding. Waitress was right on the mark! Enjoyed it!

She wasn't unpleasant, but did look as if she'd rather have been doing literally anything else, than seating customers.Overall, would recommend.

I can't remember our waiters name from last night...young guy. He was super nice. And Darren, the manager is always nice and accommodating. Outside patio was closed and we had our dog with us. He let us dine inside with her. :)

I ordered grilled fish tacos and didny have much fish but but french fries were very good. My husband ordered shrimp louie and lentil soup and it was delicious. Disappointed didn't get a birthday treat as I stated when I made reservation. So we bought treats you sell. We've been there before and chicken sandwich was good.

Great atmosphere, beautiful setting. Gracious hostess. Waiters were almost invisible which allowed us uninterrupted conversation with our guest. Food was very tasty and served quickly.
My 95 year old father loves raw oysters and really enjoys the Chelsea Gem oysters that Market Tavern features in their specials menu. That, and a glass of wine makes for a lovely lunch out. Due to limited mobility, we usually sit off the bar area, very near the entrance. It's loud there, as to be expected. Service is prompt and attentive. This recent visit, my daughter ordered the Eggs Benedict, which she enjoyed. I had the burger and fries, cooked to order. It was good as well. In addition to inside seating, they have a nice patio area for outside dining.

We all loved the grilled cornbread. Our server was phenomenal as well. The food was all delicious however, we only tried fish tacos and the burgers and didn't try any of the main courses. Glad we had reservations otherwise it would have been tough to get seated.
Food was great. Host was busy doing too many tasks. Had to wait a long time for him to finish helping two others in front of us. Other employees would come by saying someone will be with us soon, but I would have preferred someone else just check us in and seat us rather than keeping us waiting. Although it also took a long time for someone to greet us once seated, our server was attentive after that and she had our orders correct.

My wife and I went here for the first time unsure of what to expect. We wanted Lazy Dog, which is directly next door, but the wait list was very long. Curiosity and hunger prevailed, and we entered The Market Tavern. Wonderful customer service, quick, responsive, and polite. I enjoyed the fact that though it was a winery of sorts, they didn't persist that my wife and I, who both don't drink, have drinks.But the food was amazzzzzing!!!! And you can see in the kitchen from where we were fitted, and I understood why the food was so delicious!!!! THESE COOKS RESPECT ONE ANOTHER (ALMOST FAMILIAL ENERGY SHARED) AND APPEARED TO WORK TOGETHER FOR THE SAKE OF US...THE CUSTOMER.I recommend this place to everyone to experience at least once.Kid-friendliness: We went back with our daughter she loved it as we knew she would!!! And at 9 years old, she's not easily impressed

Our waitress was Amber and she was absolutely amazing! We came to celebrate a birthday and she gave us phenomenal service. From the time we sat at our table for dinner til she brought out a lit bundt cake for dessert and sang happy birthday, her caliber of service was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back again.
